9/26 stopped overnight to wait out weather. Keith parked us, asked about fuel requirement and offered to help with bags. Annie at the desk arranged good hotel deal and transportation for us and still managed to process 3 other inbounds without any delays. Amazing efficiency. Nice large lounge, two weather terminals, wireless.

Treated us like Royalty after arriving for a 3 day stay in our Grumman Cheetah. We were met at the plane with a luggage cart and helped with our bags. Once inside their terminal they quickly took our fuel order and then shuttled us off to our rental car. They even went the extra mile of getting us information on Wine Vineyards in the area. Upon return on Saturday they made sure the rental car was returned for us. I wasn't charged for anything but our fuel purchase. GREAT SERVICE - WE WILL BE BACK!!!

A large FBO, next to the Kentucky Air Museum. Although just a Cessna Hawk XP, they treated me like a G-IV, and had local Wi-Fi. The happily put up with my tired and cranky attitude. A very nice area, especially from the air. Thanks!

Superb service. Beautiful new FBO and extremely helpful staff. We decided to RON here because of Wx near our home airport. Don at the desk quickly got us into the Hilton downtown at a great rate, and the hotel van arrived in about 20mins. They also have a nice self-service fuel pump and very reasonable prices although for some reason the self-service price does not show up on AirNav. I was pleasantly surprised at departure to find no handling/parking fees. Great FBO and great service...Highly recommend!Response from David Edwards, Marketing Director, TAC Air We always appreciate kind feedback from our customers at TAC Air. As a matter of clarification, the Blue Grass Airport Authority actually owns the self-service 100LL pump at KLEX, which is why the pricing does not appear on TAC Air's AirNav listing.

TAC Air provided timely assistance to our mechanical issue, and referred us to the A&P shop next door (Mustang Aviation). Thank you to both companies for amazing service! If there were such a thing as a "good" place to have a mechanical issue away from home it would have to be here.

Attentive, courteous staff, and a great facility. Borrowed a courtesy car (a Ford Focus sedan) to drive into town, and thanks to a slow day, wasn't given the usual two-hour time constraint. Excellent FBO!

Very prompt parking! Came in midday on a busy Saturday and was promptly parked and chalked. Ordered 10 per wing and used courtesy car to go to Keeneland to bet on Preakness horse race. Excellent FBO very clean and professional. Felt treated very well and we was only in a lance with a lot of jet traffic using TAC Air. Only problem was we were fueled with 20 per wing instead of the 10 per wing as requested, front desk gentleman did give a good discount rate though to make up for the mistake. All in all I will use TAC Air again I believe it is a good stop and good service

In today with our Turbo Commander N900NE and have 'best of' all services needed. Nicest TAC Air nationwide perhaps. Great facility and friendly staff throughout. Thanks folks. Very well done.

Came in for a short overnight with a Seminole and had 5-star experience. The shower facilities were nice to use, and the ramp service did not slow down even with the rain we departed in. The Beech hanging up is a great addition as well. We will be back.

We were marshalled in right away by a very courteous lineman. Friendly counter staff and beautiful facilities. Everything about this place is great. Our Arrow was treated like G5.

Visited 8 Oct 2010 in our Twin Bonanza. Counter staff was not very friendly or helpful but the big problem was getting access to the ramp to unload the aircraft. After finally negotiating release of our rental car, counter staff said they would open the ramp gate for us to drive out. We waited for several minutes and gate never opened. Finally we gave up, parked car, and hauled all our luggage through the FBO to the parking lot by ourselves. On our departure we had exactly the same experience - very strange. TAC Air was not busy either time. Also TAC Air charged our Twin Bonanza the same ramp fees as a Beech Jet - I looked at their rates and our rate was 70% more than for a Baron or Queen Air. Next time we'll go somewhere else.

Sky High fuel prices with a huge "facility" fee added on. We will avoid this place at all costs. Airplane parked in the "boonies" for departure. Surely CSR to deal with. You'd think you were in the days of Butler.

Stopped in at LEX about 11:30am today. Was met by a marshaller immediately. Service by a young woman was prompt at the counter and was quickly offered the courtesy car to grab a bite to eat. Every TAC Air I've visited always has outstanding service and this time was no different. I don't mind the fuel prices when service was this good. TAC Air - LEX should be proud of the level of service they provided! I enjoyed my experience tremendously and will be back.

Despite not having any competition anymore, TAC provides great service. I was met by a line woman and breezed right through. For a big, busy, class C airport Lexington is very GA friendly. Fuel was less expensive than many uncontrolled fields I stop at with lower overhead and less fancy facilities. Warn anybody picking you up that it is the facility next to the Aviation Museum. They moved from another facility and my ride didn't know where I was.

I've been to TAC Air several times in my little single engine plane. Every time I've been treated wonderfully. These people are first rate, very friendly and always great to work with. One of the best FBOs I've ever been to. Keep up the good work!

TAC Air was a very friendly and reasonably priced place to stop. Although not a jet, they treated us like an important jet customer. And Lexington is a great place to spend a night or 2. A great place to stay close to the airport (only 2 miles) is the Swann's Nest B&B. Rosalie, the owner, makes you feel like a special guest and a long lost friend. The B&B is her lovely home, set in the middle of horse farms. Equidistant from the airport and the back gate at Keeneland Racetrack. Even just an overnight is a pleasure.

Not the cheapest fuel on the planet but certainly a top notch FBO. Seamless front desk etc. Treated a southbound single with dignity. Drove us to get maps, met on ramp etc. TAC Air staff does a good job, period.

Ferrying MH-65 cross-country from Kodiak, AK to Elizabeth City, NC. Great stop at TAC Air. Our Anti Collison light was broken and Dave with the Avionics Shop took care of us right away (at 5:30 at night). After less than stellar service in North Platte, NE the night before, TAC Air exceeded our expectations. We'll be back!

Stopped for lunch and fuel enroute from Florida. Picked up a bit of ice on the approach (SE piston). FBO kindly allowed us to clean up the plane in their heated hangar for an hour (no charge). All around pleasant staff, nice facility. Highly recommended.

I have been lamenting the loss of Air 51. When the economy was hot and wild TAC Air had got to the point they really did not go out of their way to look after piston singles. I would have to indicate that clearly they are open for business with piston singles and our quick turn in a piper single Comanche, was treated very well on all points. From ramp to customer service all was very well looked after. Thanks and will be back.

I called the phone number for Air-51. The phone was answered "TAC Air." I said I thought I was calling Air-51 and the woman said, "They went out of business." As TAC Air is now the only FBO at Bluegrass Field, Thursday I went there twice, once to pick up and later to drop off a friend in a Cherokee. I didn't buy anything and they didn't charge me anything. The people I saw at TAC Air seemed friendly. Had free cookies. I have no complaints. This is beyond TAC Air's control, but beware of this. Periodically there is a NOTAM about runway 4/22 being closed. This airport had three runways, but due to lots of grant money it now only has one runway. If the runway is closed it means the airport is closed except to helicopters. This NOTAM mixes local time and UTC. I found this most confusing. Had I not called the phone number in the NOTAM (859) 425-3112, I would have been in a real mess.
