Just another kudos to Meridian and Charlie. Been coming here for two years now and I've never had a bad experience. Charlie is the best, always going above and beyond.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon with a scheduled departure right at 5pm closing. A big storm came through at the same time, and Charlie made sure we got whatever we needed to ride it out in the comfort of the FBO. He and the locals made us feel right at home. This really is a great and friendly place to stop, and Charlie went out of his way to accommodate us. Thanks!!!!!!

Excellent Service and a friendly staff, nice facility too. Took on some fuel for our flight home after our Springer Spaniel rescue flight. This will be our new drop point.

This is the place if you are going to the Charlottesville area. They were able to put us in a heated hangar for the big Christmas snowstorm. As long as we have to rent a car anyway it is well worth the 30 mile drive to C'Ville to use this great airport. Even though Enterprise is in Orange they will have a car waiting for you in Louisa, no problem.

It has been a while since I posted. KLKU has become my regular place on my visits every other month or so to Charlottesville. Hands down, better than landing at CHO. The fuel is reasonable, they have been able to help with minor mechanicals every time, hangared me when I came in the snow, etc., etc. Good folks, good prices, nice place.

All of the aircraft maintenance for my Diamond Star DA40-180 is done by Meridian. Top of the line service always performed at fair and reasonable rates. Martin is the best around!

Meridian is absolutely one of the finest FBO's in the mid-Atlantic area, if not on the East Coast. They are friendly, helpful, couteous- even when you "interrupt" them when they are working on a hangarful of airplanes. Always able to make suggestions and accommodate every pilot's needs. Their fuel prices are the best in the area as well.

If you are flying General Aviation to the Charlottesville area this would be my recommendation for a fuel or overnight stop. Orange County seems to be in decline (fuel pump inop when I was their the week of 6/15/09.) Charlottesville is nice, but I had some issues there. The folks at Louisa were *very* helpful, friendly, and filled my oxygen, and allowed me to get a can of fuel so I could ferry from Orange County. (Charlottesville refused). The FBO/Maintenance team was very professional, and helpful, making me feel relaxed and at home after a stressful week of flying across the USA in marginal VFR weather. I highly recommend this FBO!
