Stopped in for the weekend of October 10--11. Initially we couldn't find a tiedown spot with ropes, but the line staff helpfully towed our bird to a spot that had ropes. The flight-planning, restroom, and lounge facilities were all in good shape, and the staff was friendly. We didn't fuel up ($5.30 for avgas is around the highest in the region), but the overnight fee of $5 was quite reasonable. Note that the terminal is literally right next door to Klamath Air, so getting a rental car from Hertz was quite easy. We'll be back.

Arrived at KLMT last month on a Parkwest Air Tour. Had an oil leak from the #2 cylinder in our Comanche 250. Got put in touch with Ken Gooch of Hi-Tech Aeroand and he fixed my problem in a day while we were at Crater Lake. Turned out the problem was a leaking oil drain fitting. This could have led to a major engine failure over the Snake River. Ken had to drop the cowling and spent all day fixing our problem and charged me only $102.00. Thanks Ken and Klamath Air Center.

Made an unexpected landing on 1/17/09 after an in-flight alternator failure. Klamath Air was very helpful in trying to find a mechanic on a Saturday. They got a hold of Ken Gooch, owner of Hi-Tech Aero who diagnosed the problem, but didn't have the parts to fix it. Klamath Air gave us the courtesy car for the night and directed us to a hotel. Ken charged up the battery to get us home and loaned us his handheld radio to mail back to him. This isn't just good customer service from these guys. They are truly part of the aviation family. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to Klamath Air or Hi-Tech Aero. Thanks, guys!!!! Oh.. And all this service only cost $20 in gas to fill up the courtesy car. They traded me that for the hangar fee.

Landed 7/31/08 on the way to a family reunion in Renton, had a flat tire on the ramp. KLAMATH AIRCRAFT CENTER to the rescue. Rick Close, owner & his linemen got us in a hangar. Brandy got us a hotel & discount on dinner. Ken at HI-TECH AERO found a tube for my odd sized tire. This is a must stop. The fun of Flying is meeting great folks like Brandy, Rick, Ken and the whole crew at Klamath A/C Center. Thanks

Excellent and friendly service! Filled my fuel tanks and they threw in a free oxygen fill! The FBO is now an AvFuel retailer. Doesn't compare to the facilities and service available in nearby Medford but I'll be back nonetheless.

In line with the previous comments, the fuel is more expensive, and the staff is great. I also found the terminal is right next to the FBO, which makes it very easy to get a rental car.

Just got fuel and the service is good but the facility doesn't warrant $5.05/gal. $5.05 a gallon is high for this airport and location (it's 3.89 SS over in Medford). It should be one of the cheapest around and instead it's the highest. These prices are usually found at Portland or Reno, not Klamath Falls. Entice us to by fuel by competitively pricing or we will go somewhere else from here on.

Nice FBO and great facilities (bathroom, flight planning, lounge area). The folks here are polite and friendly, it's definitely a place I would recommend.
