I found KLVM's manager, Russell Ferguson to be gracious and helpful. I parked my Mooney on the KLVM ramp for a week visiting Glacier National Park. I needed a part for the Mooney delivered before my departure yet I was unable to accept delivery due to my travels. Russell graciously agreed to let me have the part delivered to the airport and, when it arrived, helped me install it. When I was ready to leave, refueling the Mooney was prompt and easy.

Beware of this FBO. Fuel is attendant serve, and the person pumping the fuel was more concerned about other inbound aircraft than he was about my SR20 already at the pump. He was impatient, belligerent, and in-my-face while I dipped the tanks to calculate the fuel I could take with my load of passengers and gear. When I told him to back off, he threatened to wind up the hose and refuse me any fuel, essentially stranding me there. I was so angry I was shaking afterward, and I had to take a few minutes to calm down before departing. The other half of the team, a friendly woman in the office, worked hard to smooth things over and make excuses, but I have never run across a situation like this, and I will try to never visit this airport again. I have never written a bad comment about any FBO I have visited, so this is a first. Bypass LVM and go to North Bighorn U68 instead - friendly people and the cheapest fuel around.
