Arrived at 7am for an 8am departure. Charged a $75 early call out fee for no services other than unlocking the lobby door! Guess its that ol' Obama mentality of stick it to the corporate jet owners once again. Came from Kansas City and our passenger load prohibited taking on any fuel. Most likely would not have purchased any fuel or goods anyway since it is an anti-second amendment (anti-gun) facility. Was told it was a city ordinance. Receptionist was cordial.

I had a terrific experience here with an overnight stay. The FBO is new and big and very well equipped. Kelly at the desk had my rental car ready to go, and Chris on the line was extremely nice and helpful--had me fueled and tied down in no time. He even insisted and helping with bags, and ferrying me out the plane in the morning. I couldn't have asked for more.

My wife and I flew in for an overnight stay. The rental car was waiting as promised. While the fuel was a little more expensive, the facilities were great and the people were very helpful. Wanda arranged our car and Bill fueled us as soon as we landed. He is not only helpful but also entertaining. I would stop again without hesitation.

Being only 16 and a student pilot I flew down from OMA to visit some friends of mine. Left my plane on the ramp from 9AM to 5PM. They loaned me the crew car for the entire day. When I returned to the airport they had me fueled up and had wiped down the windows. Excellent service at this airport. Will definitely be returning.

I always get good service when I fly in to LWC 2X/year to visit relatives. Sometimes, the maintenance and line crew have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and refuse a tip. Open later than some area airports. I always buy a few gallons, even though the price is one of the highest around.

I stopped at Hetrick on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in my Cessna 210. I received great service and they let me use their courtesy car to go have lunch. A good place to stop!

Went down to Lawrence to vist my daughter in school. Each time we fly into this airport the linesman is always there to greet us and tie down the aircraft and offer any other help we might need. Sorry I didn't get his name but appreciate his service each time. Facilities are great and inside help is always helpful. Only draw back is the higher fuel price for 100LL (How about a Jay Hawk deduction for parents).

Good facility and service. Had an oil leak problem that the mechanic quickly corrected. Rental car was waiting and ready on arrival.
