Boston has been a tough nut to crack, but I think I've finally figured out how to access it via GA at reasonable prices. LWM is the key, and Eagle Aviation is an excellent FBO there. Unlike at Bedford, I paid nothing over the price of fuel to chock my Cherokee on the ramp – no landing, parking, or other service fees. Unlike at Norwood, access to your property (airplane) seems to be available after the FBO closes without a staggering overtime fee. The Lawrence commuter rail station is 2.3 miles away, an easy walk through a decent neighborhood. Halfway to the station is the Mediterranean Cafe, the best Lebanese food I have ever had. Trains run all day both Saturdays and Sundays – not very frequently, true, but they are available. A $7.50 (each way) ticket gets you to North Station, and, of course, the T gets you everywhere from there. Hotel 140, a quiet, clean, Euro-style hotel across the street from the Hancock Tower, was $100 per night with AAA discount, believe it or not.

I would have to say that Sean, Tim and the Crew at Eagle East Aviation would have to provide the most efficient and professional service that I have received for a long time. For anyone else passing through Lawrence, stop by and see the guys they will out perform your expectations.

I think very highly of the entire Eagle East Team. I send all flight students to them for excellent training. They do all of the maintenance on my Archer. They have a professional crew and they are very customer centric. You cannot go wrong with Eagle.

Many thanks to Sean and the team at Eagle East for providing outstanding service this past weekend during the Thankgiving travel madness! Arranging rentals, providing after hours assistance, and offering competive fuel prices; I couldn't have asked for better service. The pleasant demeanor and email/txt confirmations at all hours were above and beyond my expectations, truly excellence in service. Thanks guys!!

I had a great experience at KLWM, and Eagle East Aviation. They had a tie-down waiting, and got me a rental car in short order. Tim and his folks were extremely helpful and friendly in getting us going to our destination, and everything was exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Eagle East Aviation.

Recently on returning to LWM just after sunset I suffered a flat nose tire on landing. I was stranded in the middle of the active runway with most of the FBOs closed for the night. However, two gentlemen from Eagle East responded to my - and the tower controller's - pleas' to provide assistance. Within minutes they came out, filled the tire and followed me as I taxied to my hangar. Because of the late hour they waved me off when I suggested I drive to their office and pay them for their help. Unfortunately I forgot their names, but they quickly and gladly helped me out of a tough situation late in the evening.

I can't say enough good about Eagle East. When I went there, to visit family, a family emergency occurred. Talk about family, Bill and the crew treated us like family. Right in the middle of his busy day, Bill stopped what he was doing, towed my plane to the hangar and took an hour to find the problem. They couldn't be more helpful. Got a rent a car for us helped us with the baggage. Were really interested in making sure we got all the help we needed. Just doesn't happen like this anymore. What fantastic service!

I stopped in to LWM on a recent visit to Boston. Short Cab Ride to the train. I arrived unannounced but there was plenty of room on the ramp and Eagle was very close to the exit (behind the restaurant). Eric at Eagle was great on my departure. Thanks!

This is where I take students to show them what a traditional FBO should be like: quick competent repairs for aircraft in trouble, a nice little flight school, and everything else that a pilot would need.

Had to fly into KLWM to divert for weather and I cannot say enough great things about Eagle. Nick provided outstanding customer service and even went so far as to give my party and I a ride to a local restaurant. Five star service! Eagle East Aviation will be the only FBO I stop at when at KLWM. Thanks again!

Eagle East Aviation is great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was in town for business and stopped to see if anyone was available for a flight. Tim changed his plans and was able to go up with me and show me the area. He went above and beyond what I expected from an FBO. Thanks Eagle East!

Tim has been trying to teach me that a person lands once each time you takeoff. He is starting to get it.
