Called and spoke to Mark before arrival on July 27. Said they had a courtesy van that my wife and I could use. Upon arrival Mark met us with the vehicle and info on a great ribs restaurant. He gave us exceptional service and the gas was priced very favorably as well.

A+ FBO with competitive fuel prices! I brought my Glasair III in for an unplanned stop one evening after hours (2000L) and needed a hotel room and a rental car. The FBO was locked, but had a cipher lock on the door, which was easy to access. Also on the door was Mark's cell phone number to call for after hour’s service. I called Mark who was on vacation and he called Barbara (FBO attendant) who drove back to the airport, provided me with a courtesy car and directions to the closest hotel. It was A+ service!!! I highly recommend stopping by this very personable FBO if you're in the vicinity...They'll treat you right!

Great airport cheap fuel nice runways. I called because I would be landing after hours on a X-country to Florida. They had a Crew car there and waiting for me both on the way down and on my way back. Great over night stop. The airport inn is close by and very clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area.

Stopped in for fuel. Fuel price was very reasonable and FBO owner greeted me and offered cold beverages. Good facility and very friendly folks, plus a very well air-conditioned bathroom.

We dropped in on Sunday afternoon when a passenger needed to get on the ground NOW. No one around but everything we needed was accessible in the museum building with the toy airplanes out front. SS fuel was immediately south with the SS controls inside the small shed. Good fuel prices and nice airport.

Great little airport. Ended up here after leaving Wichita for fuel circumnavigating the thunderstorm system in the rest of Missouri. Very quiet location, with little activity on a Sunday. However, fuel (SS) and access to the FBO for checking weather was available.

Just sort-of ended up flying in on a maintenance flight with Southern Illinois University. Guys at First Flight were extremely helpful, courteous, and just plain nice. We still owe them a favor. Not to mention it's just a cool little airport. I'll be flying back again if I get the opportunity.
