Virgil proved to be a one person ambassador for Mobridge. By helping park and fuel our plane. We will return.

I'm in and out of Mobridge, SD frequently and after many years I still find it as one of the best stops out of over 300 airports I've landed at in the past 36 years. Airport manager, Virgil, is great, and I was pleasantly surprised at the reception I received at a local grocery store, Paylessfoods SuperValu, one block west of the 2nd stoplight. Super deli, fabulous fresh-fried chicken, amazing 'Choice' steaks, and a liquor and wine department that met all of our needs during our stay. And if the courtesy car is already taken, one can call Paylessfoods and they'll pick you up and bring you to their store! (605) 845-3606. Just tell them "One of your regulars, Benj Stoick, sent me!"

We visited Mobridge on a windy day and was greeted on the radio by Virgil's friendly voice with all of the recent weather and runway information. This was a repeat visit due to the absolutely excellent customer service received at this FBO. My husband and I are both pilots and we look for friendly places to visit. Mobridge is a friendly place and has a loaner car for us to take to town for a bite to eat. On our trip yesterday we ate at the Oasis and had a wonderful Salmon dinner. We will definitely keep this place on our favorite list of places to visit. Mobridge is a beautiful City and more towns in South Dakota should be taking lessons from Virgil on how to run an FBO. Thanks Virgil.

Stopped both going and returning from OSK. Virgil absolutely took care of us. He provided us with a courtesy car and made reservations for a room in town. We were using Mogas and on our return he had 91 octane available. Virgil's outstanding service is bringing a lot of return business to Mobridge. If not for his service we would not have stopped on our return trip.

Mogas is 91 unleaded with no ethanol. Virgil is great. Arranged place to stay and had a courtesy car. Stop on the way to OSH and it was such a friendly place we made a point of stopping there on the way back. A great/friendly small town airport.

We stopped here for fuel and lunch enroute to points west. The airport was nice and the folks in the building very helpful with the courtesy car and directions. The fuel pump is in the middle of the ramp and easy in-easy out. Town was VERY quiet, probably because it was Sunday. Thanks!

Virgil is the best; offered to let us use his truck, in the event the 2-crew cars did not get back in time, for a lunch break in town. (One got back as we were checking Wx on their PC). This is the famous small-town airport at it's best. THANKS.

We stopped by on a flight from KANE to KBIL, having phoned ahead to make sure they still sold fuel. I read the previous comments regarding Virgil and the airport, so we landed and refueled. Virgil was very helpful and kind, made it very easy. A very nice airport. Fuel prices were as advertised. I'll be back.

Outstanding service. I needed a 28-volt jump. Virgil went to town, bought a battery and put two together to get me started. I used the courtesy car overnight. Virgil could not have been more helpful. An excellent stop. Stayed overnight at the Grand River Casino. Comfortable room but employees all think they're doing me a favor by taking care of me. Casino is a slot room with one BJ table ($3-$25 only). No other games. Bad experience at GR Casino; great experience at MBG.
