Signature Flight Support

Kansas City International Airport opened in 1972. The MCI complex spans more than 10,000 acres and its three runways can accommodate up to 139 aircraft operations per hour. MCI consistently ranks among the lowest in delays of all U.S. airports due to its uncongested air and ground space, short taxi time, and a low weather-related closure/cancellation rate.

I just spent a night in KC and left my Bonanza at MCI. The line and office staff was phenomenal and treated me like a long lost friend, despite this being my first visit there. Meanwhile, the charges were very reasonable for a Class Bravo airport ($5 infrastructure fee, $17 overnight parking, 50 cent/gallon weekend discount on 100LL, handling fee was waived with fuel purchase). When going to downtown KC, it's hard to beat the convenience and low cost of MKC, but if MCI is close to where you are going, I think you'll be pleased with the experience.
From Douglas D Dutton on 17-Dec-2018

GA - avoid, unless you have more $ than cents! Minimum fee to park on their cement is $75! It is 1/2 this if you buy a minimum quantity of seriously over priced 100LL. No wonder GA is dying with this kind of service! Thanks Signature!

Response from Frankie Taylor, Area General Manager, Signature Flight Support
We believe the quality, safety, comfort and security of general aviation travel should be reflected in the services provided by the FBO. Accordingly, Signature Flight Support facilities are designed and staffed to meet the highest service standards. To facilitate the equitable distribution of the costs associated with maintaining and operating our facilities, a Handling Charge will be applied to all aircraft. This fee can be waived with a minimum fuel purchase. This minimum fuel purchase is based upon size of aircraft. Mr. Dutton, if you would like to call me on your next visit into MCI we can discuss making arrangements for you to lower the operational cost. Regards

Some of the best treatment I've ever gotten from an FBO. Arrived exhausted, after a significant weather diversion, and was taken care of extremely well. If I personally fly to KC again, I'll use MCI.
From Kelly Grant on 24-Aug-2017

Another great visit to this FBO. Dropped a pax and they offered to shuttle him to an adjacent location. The Skyhawk only took the 5/side but they cheerfully complied. This airport is underutilized by GA.
