Have been here 3 or 4 times last 3 weeks. Fuel was 6.90 for avgas today, which is about 15% higher then at Midland International. No one is rude here but I get the feeling no one cares whether you are here our not, whether you buy fuel. Employees seem like they are in their own world.

I operate an aircraft based at Airpark. Today I called to ask that two recent fueling charges be taken off the account we have at Basin and instead be charged to a credit card that was supposed to be used for the fueling. The owner of Basin refused to do this because she would have to "eat the 3% charge" and wait to get her money. The 3% charge would come to about $5.00. I believe this is no way to treat customers, especially a not-for-profit entity. In the future, I will fly to any of the nearby airports to fuel and have maintenance done rather than be treated this way.

Stopped for fuel, had no problems at all. Staff was friendly and quick.

It's been a couple of years since I stopped here. I wanted my plane placed in one of the covered tie down areas, which they were happy to do, but they wanted me to sign a damage waiver in case they damaged my plane while they were towing it. Really absurd, in my opinion. Given other AirNav remarks along with my experience, I must say that this FBO has a strange culture to say the least.

Stopped in our King Air just for fuel on a ferry out west, Co-captain wanted to use the crew car to visit a relative while fueling, they said the brakes were bad and he had to pay for a rental for our 1.5 hour visit. Manager refused to give us Avtrip points when we paid with our Colt card. She acted as if I was pointing a gun when I presented my Avtrip card. Facilty not bad, had wireless and WSI weather. Would only stop here again if this airport was where I needed to be.

Did a gas and go mid December 2006. Am writing this because the service was great, the folks nice. Great place to stop going east or west.

Basin has always been my choice when coming to Midland to visit my Aunt because of convenience to her residence and the airport, but due to the recent event that won't happen anymore. Talked to like I was an idiot, treated badly having to contact Airport operations to get it resolved, any questions contact me only 200 words can't describe everything here

Flew in early evening and got prompt fuel and directions to a great Mexican restaurant nearby. Returned after closing and had no trouble getting back to the ramp and departing at sunset.

This is my 2nd time in a month to Basin. As long as you're not in ANY kind of hurry and have time to kill while you get fuel, then stop here. My first visit was marginal. I don't expect a red carpet, but given that I was the only plane on the tarmac, I'd at least expect somebody to come out and see if I needed anything. My visit Friday was worse. This time there was nobody at the counter once I got inside. Eventually I found what I guessed was the lineman outside off in the distance leaning in a car having a visit. I waited until the car drove off and then the guy started skipping rocks on the road, so I waved my arms to get his attention. Clearly that worked because he then went over to the fuel tanks and proceeded to fill up the JetA fuel truck. What was occurring was a simple prioritization of the value of his time over mine. Rather than move the JetA truck, get the 100LL truck, come fill me up and then refuel the JetA truck, we both got to share the experience.
