We visited MER 6-18/19 for trip to Yosemite. The folks at MER (Chris and Mike in the tower) and Gemini (sorry, I didn't get names) were great, treated us well and were extremely friendly. The gentleman at Gemini even called Enterprise when they didn't have a car ready. My tip is if you fly to Merced try MER but call Avis. Have fun, it was good experience

My wife and I stopped into Castle today to see the museum. Gemini personnel went out of their way to accommodate us. It's not up to them to provide a museum shuttle, but they do. To and from.

Thank you very much for someone (with long hair) @ Gemini Flight support, I'm private pilot and had night cross country to castle, I just decided to landing @ castle airport and refill the fuel, but unfortunately the FBO is closed @ 6 PM, I try to called the number for fuel services and I asked them there's available to refill the fuel at 10 PM? They told me it's work and after that I landed at 10 PM, the airport it was sleepy, quiet and after I shut down the engine, the fuel car came to me to refill the fuel. He was the only one-man @ Airport. Really2 excellent service & NO EXTRA FEE. Thank you sir.. (The man with long hair)..

Flew in with my seven year old boy on a Skylane, I was told that the FBO would be closed after 6 PM. We arrived at 8 PM and the VERY VERY nice gentleman was nice enough to wait for us with a rent a car. At which point I told him that I would be wanting to return the car after hours, he was nice enough to give me a key to the FBO and took time with us to give us directions to town and even gave me a map of the city. On the return home, my son and I unlocked the FBO used the restrooms and went on our way. I am new to aviation and I hope most folks are this nice and accommodating, but I am not banking on it. This was one wonderful experience. Definitely fly in and use this FBO if you are headed for central CA.

Went to Castle Airport to go to the air museum. The owner of Gemini suggested that he drive us over to there, which was welcome in the 104˚ heat. The museum was wonderful, though the café was closed. Got a ride back, and we used one of the conference rooms after asking to eat a lunch we had packed. Truly great service.

Friendly and courteous service. We arrived as a flight of four ultralights and were treated very well. They gave us a ride to the air museum and back which was very nice of them. Ground control and Tower were very courteous and helpful as they had the main runway closed and was using the taxiway as the alternate runway. Note that the restaurant at the museum is currently closed.

Gemini Flight Support was awesome. I visited Castle just to build some cross-county time this weekend and got stranded for a couple hours when I couldn't get the airplane to start due to engine flooding and a subsequent drained battery. They worked with me for over an hour on a Sunday afternoon jumping the battery and trying to clear the engine and even said they wouldn't close shop until they saw me off. Friendly staff and great service! Highly recommend!

Flew in last week to see the Museum. Had a disabled passenger with us. The FBO made three van trips to take us to a restaurant, the museum and finally back to the airport. Super accommodating! Friendly good fuel price. Highly recommend this FBO.

This was a fun airport to visit, but definitely not the ideal place to grab a quick bite to eat. The air museum was a fun experience, especially if you're into military aviation history. $10 per person. Definitely bring your camera to capture everything from the F-14 and SR-71 to the B-52 bomber (massive). Gemini is a small FBO with great service. Only 1 guy was working there at the time; basically, the shuttle car driver was also the fuel truck operator and the front desk receptionist/cashier. When we arrived, there was nobody at the front desk, only a sign with a number to call if you needed assistance. So, if you're in a rush, this might not be the best destination especially if there's someone ahead of you for services. But, the service was exceptional! The lineman went out of his way to shuttle us to and from the museum (otherwise it's about a mile walk). All in all, a fun place to visit (but you might want to eat ahead of time just in case).
