Stan Thurston even drove me 30 miles into Merced to pick up a new tire. My passengers spent a few hours at the museum and had a great time. Before we knew it, we were on our way again. Walked to museum and got a ride back. Gemini staff was there to offer a crew van and fueled our aircraft at the AirNav price. Very helpful staff. Very easy in & out with the new tower. And the restaurant was outstanding. PCL remains 123.000   From Jim Price on 02-Jul-2006 Castle Airport has just recently changed its CTAF freq. It is now 123.075. Pilot actuated field lights are on 123.000 with 3 clicks. Check AWOS for advisories on 124.475.
