12/16/07 Checked AirNav prices before leaving. Arrived there and ask about fuel and was told $4.15 I ask about a cash price and was given the "local" price. I suggest you call ahead before going. Beautiful airport and area!!!!

Service was great and thanks for all the help from Keith. Could not have gotten home without his help. Price for jet fuel was low too. King Air 101SS

Flew to KMEZ recently in a C182. Kenny or Keith (?) was very helpful. On departure I had to beat some weather. My plane was fueled and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. Mena Air Center was a great stop.

I flew into Mena from Iowa to leave my Comanche to be painted. I had to wait for my son who was driving to the airport to meet me. (11-hour trip) While I waited they treated me with great service as well as lent me their car to use all day. The place has great facilities and looks nice. I took on 35 gallons thanks to a head wind in which I eked out 140 knots. The fuel was cheaper than my hometown fuel! What more could you ask for.

The scenery in this beautiful area is worth the trip. The FBO had great avgas prices and great service.

I ferried an airplane to Mena for a Paint & Interior Job on 01/25. The well-known Paint Shop & the Interior shop both insisted that I use Mena Air Center despite the bad comments. With hesitation I took their advice, and I was not disappointed. No red carpet at my cabin door, but then again I don't require that in order to feel important as a customer. I was promptly parked, and asked what could be done to help. The FBO is decent sized w/ wx, lounge, and etc. The staff is courteous & friendly. The facility was definitely clean & comfortable. The manager also informed me that the staff had undergone remodeling as well. The ramp appeared to be small for a King Air 350, but I am sure if you call ahead that arrangements can be made with the larger ramps of neighboring businesses. The fuel was a bargain and lower than advertised. I paid $3.20 even, no surprise taxes and such for 150+ gallons. I'll be back in 6 weeks, and will be using Mena Air Center!

I flew into Mena Air Center for a refuel a few months ago. The fuel prices are not bad by no means compared to larger city prices. The taxes are not included with the original price, because of a local law that does not require it. I was from a small town that did the same thing. The service was very good and the attendants were very helpful with giving me info on all of the different shops on the field. One of the attendants even drove me into town to get some lunch. The scenery was beautiful and the service was very friendly and helpful.

I called Mena Air Center to get the current 100LL price and was told it was $3.89. I asked if that included taxes and got, "Uh....No, that's about 47 or 48 cents more." Big difference between pulling in and expecting $3.89 a gallon then being charged $4.37! I asked again to verify the additional "47 or 48 cents per gallon tax" and the guy said "Yeah, " and hung up on me. The previous comments seem to be pretty much on target about this FBO. This seems like very deceptive marketing to me.

Beautiful surroundings, great approach, bad FBO. Agree with all previous comments regarding the service from the attendants. They are either mute or do not care. Have been twice in two months and both experiences identical, old FBO, poor service from teenagers.

Very bad service. Landed at Mena for fuel on return trip from Sun-N-Fun 4-18-2004. Liked to not found anybody around. After fueling and paying we asked the line boy about a car to go get lunch, none available, then he disappeared. Very unprofressional businesslike.

Worst service of any FBO we have ever experienced. No one offered to help with ANYTHING. During our flight planning we called and we were told there was a courtesy car. There was not one, nor was there a rental car agency on the field. The rental car agency was very nice, and brought a car to us (I don't know how we would have gotten it otherwise.)

This airport offers some of the best service in Arkansas. They go above and beyond the call of duty 2 serve you. Thanks for the Jet A (OUTSTANDING JOB GUYS) Thank you, all our service comes 2 u guys!!!

Waiting room wasn't bad, but really surly attendant. I never did get him to say a single word to me, not "Hello", not "Up yours." Just wanted to play his video game uninterrupted. Men's restroom had new life-forms crawling out from under the door. FBO is clearly long past its prime.
