I was hoping to take advantage of this fueling service this last weekend and 'beat the system' (avoid buying fuel from Signature) but my plans went up in flames. After paying the ridiculous fees at Signature, I called Tursair to have them ready to fuel our aircraft when we taxi over from Signature. To my surprise, the line crew answered the phone (cell), but advised me it would be 60-90 minutes before I could be serviced. I had two choices, put my tail between my legs and go back to Signature for seven dollar-a-gallon jet A (and hope they credit us for the before mentioned fees), or depart and go to a satellite airport for fuel. We chose the second. I will try this service in the future, but I plan to reposition to their ramp during non-rush times to avoid inconveniencing my pax with departure delays.

Used Tursair for a quick turn fuel stop in our Citation Jet. One of the worst fueling experiences in 40 year of flying! Tursair fuels on a vacant ramp with no facilities around for passengers. They must stay with the aircraft when fueling. Lineman spilled a lot of fuel while fueling, forgot to reset the fuel meter and the supervisor had to come out and try and figure out how much fuel they pumped. Their figure was different then what we figured and we were overcharged about 8 gallons. They made no offer to correct the situation even though it was their fault. After fueling we had to taxi to the General Aviation Terminal shut down again and pay our landing fee, We will not be back. SFAI at KOPF was used on return trip.

Great fueling, efficient and $3.00/gallon less than Signature. I saved money by repositioning and getting fuel at Tursair, and having to pay Signature 2 parking fees. I still saved hundreds of dollars. If you do not have to worry about passengers, get fuel with them on the way in or way out if you need to use Signatures services and avoid their charging you 2 parking fees. Thank you Tulsair for the great prices and great service!
