Flew into Muncie on, 6/20, Friday night. Brian from the FBO met us as we parked and drove us to our hotel and made an excellent recommendation for dinner. We were there for a formation clinic and on both Saturday and Sunday the FBO was very responsive to the needs of our group, about fifteen Grummans. As a side note, the Tower did and excellent job while we were flying in the airspace. Even when we were out in our practice areas, they tried to keep us informed of some nasty weather in the area that eventually came in over the airport while we out flying. Everyone at airport really did a great job all weekend.

I attended a formation-flying clinic in Muncie this past weekend. The guys at Muncie Aviation were absolutely great. They provided everything we needed with a smile and volunteered a lot of very useful info about where to eat etc. When we came in on Friday evening, Brian gave us a ride and made a great recommendation for dinner near the hotel. I recommend this FBO to anyone in route near or to Muncie. As a side note, the ATC in the tower treated us very well and were really professional during the flight portion of or training. They provided weather briefs even when we were out of their space in the practice areas when some dicey weather came near and went over the field.

FBO was great...Very friendly and willing to help out in any way they could. CAUTION: Tower almost got me killed...Allowed a plane to turn on course when I was on my downwind leg...His on course was right over my nose...Neither of us saw each other but reported location several times.

Great fuel stop! They have all the things you want: a GA-oriented FBO, a nice restaurant right next to the FBO, tower, ILS, etc. Lineman greeted us on landing and was very contentious while refueling the aircraft. The restaurant is amazing for an airport restaurant. It is so nice that kids bring their prom dates here! Don't be scared away by the ambiance, though; they have excellent $6 specials for lunch.

Stopped in late on Sunday afternoon and got FULL SERVICE. The tower folks were friendly and easy to work with.

Very nice folks, decent price on 100LL. We stopped in during a Saturday "out and about" for dinner. We checked out the restaurant on the field (something Landing) but it's a bit pricey. We nabbed the crew car and headed into town just a mile or so away and there were many options. Good airplane/people fuel stop! Thanks Muncie!

July 27 2006 - Stopped due to declining weather en route home from OSH. The nightline crew put my little Cherokee in hangar, drove us to the hotel and picked us up the next morning. Wonderful restaurant adjacent - great food - not your usual hamburger joint - first class. When we couldn't get out right away, one of the line crew loaned his personal car for us to go to the mall. Treated us like we were in a Citation. Will go out of my way just to stop in again.

Stopped for fuel on a cross-country trip. Very friendly and quick fuel service. ATC personnel were quite helpful and accommodating as well. I'd return, and fuel price was fairly reasonable.
