These people are terrific! Flew in yesterday expecting to stay for 4 hours. On my way back to the FBO one of the line guys (Alex) CALLED ME to tell me that big storms are predicted, and asked if I'd like them to hangar the airplane. They did that for me, and then the rain got so bad that they closed the airport. The line guys offered us a crew car and made reservations for me and my wife at the Wyndham. And they kept apologizing! (For the rain?!) Sure ... The fuel price is high. But this is a first class customer-service oriented operation through and through!

Excellent service. Peggy was terrific. Good deal on hangaring a Mirage; made arrangements for the hotel for two of us, shuttle service, courtesy car, and excellent disposition. Fuel is high but there is no competition. Will be back.

Service is good but prices are sky high. $85 ramp fee plus $45 GPU fee. Purchased 40 gallons (top off) of JetA at $6.10/gal. Total cost of $374 for my single turboprop on a recreational weekend flight. How can a class C airport like MKE have only one FBO? Competition is a good thing. I wrote to the manager a month ago and have not received a response. No more fuel or GPU starts for me at Signature MKE. On a positive note, they did have a crew car for my use at no charge. Perhaps the ramp fee covered this.

I flew a Thorp T-18 into MKE to visit the FSDO office. Signature let me use their courtesy car and only 7 Gallons of fuel we required to waive the $27 handling fee.

This past weekend was my first trip into MKE and I parked at Signature. This is one terrific FBO. Very friendly staff, clean facilities, and I thought, reasonable prices for a large field FBO. I've read other posts complaining about the price of fuel and fees, but I have to disagree. With the weekend discount, I paid $4.55/gal for 52 gallons of 100LL and had my $27 handling fee waived. This fuel price is cheaper than Timmerman. I later found a mistake on the invoice and contacted them. They apologized, immediately fixed the problem, and took off 1 night's parking fee ($21) for my trouble. I recommend Signature MKE to anyone going into Milwaukee and will certainly be sending them my business in the future.

Flew into MKE from Oshkosh AirVenture to pick up a friend inbound on a commercial flight. On the plus side, Signature was very friendly & helpful, loaned a courtesy car, etc. On the minus side, fuel was $0.80 higher than at OSH - and even after buying 20 gallons for my single-engine piston, I was charged a $27 ramp fee. Unfortunately Signature is the only FBO on the field, so the fees are inevitable. Grin & bear it.

Just wanted to thank Signature, and Denise in particular, for the great service during a stop and short stay. Excellent facility, pilot lounge and Wx room. A great place to eat is just right across the street, The Packing House, has excellent food and good prices.

As we traveled the U.S. this air show season, I had the opportunity of visiting many FBO's. However, Signature MKE was a pleasure to visit! Doug, Jay and the entire crew where very helpful with all of our needs. They ran a ramp jammed with air show performers and corporate aircraft with ease. Safety is an obvious concern to them; every aircraft had 4 cones and every pilot/visitor had an escort to and from their aircraft. Fuel prices are a small factor in deciding where to stop. Quality service and flexibility are of utmost importance! Signature MKE is an example of how an FBO should be run!

A best choice for an FBO in Milwaukee. For a one day stay (flying in from Iowa in a Mooney) Signature is more convenient than Timmerman, with better services, and CHEAPER! Figure it out: Gas (with tax) was $5.05 a gallon, but the discount on the weekend made it $4.55. Timmerman was $4.20, so I paid $.35 more per gallon (times 15 gallons) for $5.25 extra. The tie down was $21 versus $10 at Timmerman, for $11 extra. The fuel purchase waived the $25 ramp fee. OK you say, so how's that cheaper, since it's now $16.25 extra? It's the car! A rental (right at Signature) was over $21 a day cheaper than what I could get Timmerman. It may seem like it's expensive (which it is), but It was $5 cheaper for more convenience and great services (both from the FBO and ATC). I'll be back.

I know that Signature is supposed to be expensive. However, if all I want is to have a ride to and from the commercial terminal to pick up my wife, their service was wonderful. Their employees were nice. Their fuel was not unreasonable considering. Let me state it this way, I only needed 15 gallons of gas. For that money I got great service by pleasant people.

Decided to give $ignature a second chance, as I was flying to the Milwaukee area and had a friend near MKE who would provide ground transportation. I figured I'd spend the $23 on a rental car if I went to MWC anyway, so what the heck. Well, NO MORE!!! I was charged $44.00 to park a piston single for a couple of hours! Yes, the facility is nice, but I expect the staff to at least acknowledge my presence! The only time they do is when they stop you to pay the fee. $ignature, you need to get a clue. No service + utterly outrageous prices = NO MORE BUSINESS FROM ME! EVER!

Signature at MKE = one thing "price gouging". What a shame.

From Chuck Kissner on 27-Feb-2006
Fuel prices were high for Jet A, but not more than you would expect at a major metropolitan airport. The service at Signature was great, and we would not hesitate to use this facility again.
