Kathy is always a treat to deal with.... Having traveled FBO's nationwide.... I can’t put them in the class of "home" and "friendly" like I can Kathy and Hangar One. Thank you!!

From Chris Bradburry on 23-Aug-2008
Outstanding service and good fuel price. Broke down on a Sunday afternoon and T.C. and the rest of the crew dropped everything to help us. Couldn't get it fixed right away, so they helped arrange for a rental car to continue our trip. Got the plane fixed in a timely manner for a reasonable price.

I called two days before my arrival to find out if there was a handling fee. The lady answering the phone said "yes". I asked the minimum gallons to avoid the handling fee and she said did not know, but just "buy some gas". We arrived and asked them to put 80 gallons in the outboard tanks. While I was inside, the copilot stopped the fueler from putting the fuel in the inboards. (The inboards are between the engines and the fuselage). The passengers have to walk out between the airplanes / helicopters in the hangar to get to the airplane. The following day when I drop the passengers off, I again ask them to put a minimum amount of fuel onboard. There is a fueling delay because of bad weather, and I am talking to the manager who tells me there is no handling fee or minimum fuel required. Employees should know the answer to handling fee / minimum fuel questions.

Very friendly and fast service, and no charge to park for the weekend. Took good care when towing the plane to a parking space, too. I'll be back!

I have been to many FBO's around the country; I truly feel that Hanger One is the best. They have the best service and fuel prices around. I want to wish them the best luck always and I hope to see them again soon.

From Jeff Guest on 12-Dec-2007
Great service and great fuel price. They helped us with pax catering on short notice and gave us a quick turn.

From Mike Holland on 07-Dec-2007
Hangar One the greatest. Arrived just before sunset and the line crew arrived to help secure the plane almost before the prop stopped. Arranged a motel room and called the shuttle. Great stop, reasonable fuel prices and no tie down charge with fuel. Would stop again.

From Vince Sammaritano on 04-Oct-2007
If you’re looking for great service, fine southern hospitality, and outstanding fuel prices, look no further than Hanger One. Jill and the whole crew at the FBO go out of their way to make your stay (regardless how short) a wonderful experience. These folks get the gold star for customer service!

From Robert Burnet on 10-Sep-2007
Stopped in at 7:45 PM on 9/7/07. Refueled at the SS and got the courtesy car for dinner. Billy Birks at Hangar One was very gracious and although he was scheduled to close at 8 PM hung around for us to eat and return. He said - Don't rush the customer comes first. Great stop, great treatment. Recommend TJ Gators restaurant on the south side of the mall.

From Dale Long on 05-Aug-2007
Called ahead to check on the availability of a crew car. They took down my tail number and had it waiting for me when I landed. Exceptional service, even though I was flying a C172 and just wanted to run into town for a bite to eat. Courtesy car has a 2-hour checkout limit, but that was more than enough time for the 1/2-mile trip to the mall where several restaurants are located.

From Thomas Anderson on 04-Aug-2007
I stopped at MLU for Hangar One's great self-serve and pump-serve prices, but was duped into full service when they ran out to marshal me in to the ramp. Fortunately, the outstanding service and friendly attitude of everyone there can't spoil my recommendation. I would certainly stop by again.

From Mike Kaul on 30-May-2007
Stopped at Hangar One on our coast-to-coast trip. This is truly a great FBO. Family owned and operated. They define courteous, friendly and responsive to your needs. Thanks Diane, Jill, and the folks on the ramp. We will be back.

From Skylar DeSantiago on 16-May-2007
As promised we came back, just as nice of a stop as the first time we came through. Staff friendly, courteous and efficient. We were amazed at all the Air Force helicopters, quite interesting. Your doing something RIGHT Hanger One, keep up the good work...Thanks

From Jim Juneau on 13-Feb-2007
Stopped intending to buy fuel and go, but weather forced us to stay overnight. Hangar One couldn't have been more helpful, including use of crew car overnight, and discounted hotel coupons. Fuel price was great as well. I'll be back next time.

From Skylar DeSantiago on 02-Feb-2007
Stopped by Hanger One MLU for fuel and wonderful attention we got from the lineman crew; John, to the personnel inside; Miss Diane, and the clean hangar. Beautiful lounge, CLEAN bathrooms, GRRREAT Prices on fuel, and most of all SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY AT ITS BEST..Thank you Hanger One, We Will Be Back...

From Ron Tait on 01-Jan-2007
Stopped on 27 Dec and 1 Jan for fuel. Nice people and very helpful. Self-Serve was $2.95/gal with a credit card. Best price in the South!

From Larry Sellon on 05-Dec-2006
We stopped at Hangar One on a Friday afternoon with a dead generator and little hope of being able to get it repaired before the first of the week. They cheerfully went to work, found the problem, located the needed parts and had us ready to go in about 2 hours. They were also very helpful in locating a place to spend the night and recommending a good Cajun restaurant. Hangar One was an excellent choice of a place to stop for fuel at a good price and great service.

From Ronald Deering on 20-Oct-2006
Hangar One was a great fuel stop between Atlanta and San Antonio and we stopped there both directions. We used the self-service fuel truck parked near the FBO for quick, easy fueling. The price was as advertised in AirNav. The people at Hangar One were very friendly and courteous. They gave us a ride to the commercial terminal for lunch and picked us up afterward on our first stop. They lent us their courtesy car to drive to the nearby mall for lunch on the turn-around. This is a great place to stop with friendly faces and good service. We'll be back.

From Kelly Kyle on 29-Aug-2006
Hanger One has always had the cheapest fuel on the field, and some of the cheapest in the area, but I stopped in last night and found out this was no longer the case. Their $4.10/gallon avgas + a new $.15/gallon credit card surcharge is no longer competitive for the area. I only bought enough to get me home, and wish now I'd known at the time that much cheaper fuel was available at another facility at MLU.

From Daniel Oppenheim on 01-Jul-2006
Flew my 210 with several passengers into MLU on July 1, 2006. While the facilities are a little dated, they are more than made up for by the outstanding services and caring attitude of the employees. The lineman, Brent, brought us to Hertz to get a rental car, loaded and unloaded both our plane and vehicle, and then helped us tug the plane to the self serve fuel facility, all in 95 degree heat. He then refused to accept any gratuity, stating that he did what he was paid to do and was pleased to help out! All of this and still the cheapest ($3.50 gallon as of this writing) avgas within a 100 mile radius. Service like this for "us little guys" is few and far between and this FBO deserves our full support. Any time I'm close to Monroe, you can bet I'll be going back to Hangar One.

From David Wilmot on 28-May-2006
We flew into MLU on 5/26/06 and parked at Hangar One. The line guys cheerfully helped us park and allowed us to use the crew car for the better part of the day as no rental cars were available in the area. The SS fuel was very reasonable and two of the line personnel helped me fuel the plane! Without exception the employees went above and beyond to make our stop a pleasant experience. Good work folks!

From Rusty Bouchillon on 11-Apr-2006
Super nice folks, self serve is convenient and price is as advertized. Their students are pretty good artists (via shirt-tails).....I'm glad to see I am not alone in preserving that tradition.

From Dr. Vaughn DeCoster on 26-Mar-2006
What a wonderful airport, friendly tower folks, inexpensive gas, helpful lineman!

From Phil Gustafson on 18-Mar-2006
Great place to save some cash and get a quick turn around, even on a Sunday. Facilities are basic, but DUATS is available. Friendly staff that greets you at the self serve fuel truck. If you can read, you can operate the pump. Thanks guys!

From Joe Dillahunty on 14-Jan-2006
Stopped here for an overnite on 01/08/06. Friendly, helpful, courteous staff. They had prearranged a room for me, with a discounted price, and the hotel shuttle picked me up. Great place to stop.

From Mark Moore on 30-Nov-2005
We flew experimental 809AP to MLU on 11-28-05. Not only was the fuel price lower than anyone around, the lineman was as nice and helpful as could be. And it didn't stop there. Since the "courtesy car" had already been taken, Jill offered to bring us to our destination and wait (30-40 mins) until our business was done. This was above and beyond the call of duty. This is what makes flying fun! This FBO has much to offer, from basic flight instruction to helicopter maintenance. This family run operation is growing too. They are moving to a larger hanger in the not too distant future. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop. You'll be glad you did.

From Anne Van Nimwegen on 31-Oct-2005
It has been my pleasure to have the opportunity to land in MLU and tie down at Hanger One. What wonderful service and the nicest people you could meet. Very knowledgeable also. Thank you TC, Jill, Ernest, Maurice and Brittney.

From Darren Tilman on 28-Oct-2005
Stopped at Hanger One twice on a recent long trip. I can't say enough good about them. Jill made arrangements for a hotel for me despite my estimated very late arrival time. Their facility isn't fancy, but the employees are great. Lent me a courtesy car for lunch. Drop by and see them; I will on my next westbound trip.
