One of the better Signature's in the country, but that's not really saying anything. I much prefer MMU to TEB if I have a choice. Have not been to FTC yet, but will try them next visit if for no other reason than the ~$2.50 fuel difference. Signature MUST get their fuel prices and ramp fees in order with reality.

Stopped in at KMMU today to meet an ol' college buddy for lunch. Parked the C-182 at Signature for 3 hours, had them top it off -- took 11 gallons. The line guy met me, chocked the wheels, and golf-carted my passenger and I to the building. The desk staff was professional and competent. The facilities are new plus ultra! Ramp fee waived for the 11-gallon purchase, without my asking. 50 cent/gal. Weekend discount applied, without my asking. Signature did not charge the landing fee, told me I could expect to hear from the airport. I have been to FBO's where the folks were warmer and fuzzier, but hey, it's New Jersey (and I grew up there, so I'm allowed to crack wise about it). For me, nothing not to like, I wouldn't hesitate to stop at Signature-KMMU again.

The worst rip-off in my 2 years of frequent cross-country flying! Followed by the most inept and unresponsive counter staff and administration. We flew a single-engine piston AG-5B on April 22nd. Simply landed and parked on the ramp. Stayed for 3 hours, did not buy fuel. The counter staff first asked for $97.00 - $87 for handling plus $10 landing. After I picked myself off the floor I asked that they check again -- they then asked for $37 - $27 handling plus $10 landing. The charter crew standing nearby was in disbelief. So we paid $37. Called the manager the next day - she said $37 was right. THE SAGA CONTINUED. We've now gotten 2 bills from the airport for the landing fee. We sent them a copy of the charge receipt with the first bill. Just got another...

Line crew and service was some of the best I've seen. Sent email requesting to be parked where I didn't need to be moved. They were responsive to the email, were prepared, and marshaled me to a good spot. Friendly and VERY service oriented. Great experience.

Normally I would avoid a Signature FBO to best of my ability. Having no choice, I visited this Signature and stayed overnight. I expected the usual poor service, rudeness and way expensive prices. Much to my surprise I was treated VERY WELL with the CSR's busting their butts to get us 4 hotel rooms. The line guys were some of the best I have seen! Yes, still paid the "out of sight" fuel price as well as a $290 handling fee but all in all this is by far the best Signature FBO I have been too. The girls behind the counter were some of the most professional I have seen..All in all a very nice "Signature Experience".

I flew just before Christmas with our Cirrus SR22. From start to finish I was very happy. The tower was very helpful (our first trip to MMU, we usually head to TEB). The linesmen parked us in a very nice spot. I stayed for several days and was charged $10 per night. They fueled the plane during the weekend (prices slightly less). Great facility inside and out. All the flight information you need with a great pilot lounge and WiFi. I thought I was going to break the bank paying for all this but Signature was very reasonable. I suggest you call them in advance, I did and spoke to Lisa on all the pricing and they kept their word. Forget about TEB. I felt very comfortable leaving our plane here. Keep up the great work for us little single engine customers!

Flew up in a 152 and was treated very well. Nice people and nice service. My first flight into the NYC area and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend them to anyone.

HORRIBLE!!! Flew in on our Falcon 50 and did not receive the usual service offered by other FBO's that DO NOT charge a $500 HANDLING FEE. Plus the $500, Signature charges extra for LAV, and WATER services etc. We asked for a ride to our hotel, which was 5 miles away, about a 10 - 15 minute drive at the most. The CSR told us that they did not drop-off at that hotel. They only drop-off at a few hotels, which a few of those were even FARTHER away than where we were staying. She also would not let me speak to a manager. Said that the manager is not available on weekends but that I could call her on Monday. Then I wanted to rent a car, again a NO. Supposedly Hertz is not there on weekends. They called me a limo, which cost us $45 for the 10 minute; drive even though I asked for a taxi. They lost my 1, 500 gallon fuel purchase at $5.57/gal over a ride to the hotel. Thanks to their rudeness, I found out about FTC FBO at MMU. GO THERE!!! Great fuel price, friendly service, not even a comparison.

Flew a Mooney 231 in and bought 7 gallons of gas for $35 plus a $10 airport landing fee. All in all, a phenomenal value for use of an outstanding facility. They've got wireless, they've got Hertz in the lobby; they've got the cookies with M&Ms in them. I don't see any reason to avoid Signature at MMU if you are flying a light single. Yes, the gas is expensive, but you only have to buy 7 gallons and the facility is one of the best around.

Landed with a friend in a Cessna 414 to pick up two people and he was assesed a $140 landing fee. Would have had to purchase 50 gallons or more of Avgas at over 5.90 a gallon to reduce that amount. We were there less than 15 minutes.

It was with some hesitation that I decided to give Signature another try after swearing them off forever after a typical Signature sticker shock experience. Yes, Signature is expensive, but I agree with a previous poster in that you have to look at the value. On my recent trip, I needed to get up to NJ for a brief meeting and then come right back. In my situation, the outstanding facilities, friendly line service guys, courteous desk staff, and free crew car (saving me from having to rent a car or getting a taxi) was WELL worth the extra $7 the minimum fuel (7 gallons for a piston single) to avoid a handling charge cost me above what those 7 gallons would have cost me at my home field. Clearly, there are situations where using Signature doesn't make sense, like a cross-country fuel stop, but in this instance, Signature gave me a whole lot of bang for my buck and I will not hesitate to return to this or any of the locations if the situation warrants it.

Although this facility is tailored to the biz-jet community, my experience as the pilot of a small single-engine aircraft was entirely positive. We were met by a courteous linesman, parked and chocked quickly, and then driven to the terminal by golf cart. Since we were staying through the weekend, he instructed the fuel crew to fill us on Sunday to take advantage of the weekend rate ($0.50/gal discount). Fees were exactly as quoted over the phone ($25 ramp fee waived with min. 7 gal. purchase, $10/night parking, and $10 landing fee billed by the airport). The plane was fueled and ready at the appointed departure time - all in all, a very professional operation. The ramp area is undergoing major expansion and there is only one taxiway being used for both entry and exit. Call them on the ARINC (129.6) for instructions if a linesman does not show up.

I would absolutely NEVER fly here again...Picked up a friend and was on the ramp less than 10 minutes...They whacked me $80, yes, EIGHTY DOLLARS as a landing fee, or I could purchase 50 gallons of jet fuel with double inflated prices for a partial waiver of fees. They were rude, and all of the lineman sat and watched television as my passenger and myself loaded bags into the airplane. A big thumbs down!!!!

Landed on 8/23, departed on 8/24. Parking fee for DA-40 was $10.00 overnight. Landing fee was $10.00. Handling fee waived with 20 gallon AVGAS purchase. Very nice facility, and lineman met me at ramp, chocked my little plane, and gave me a ride the short distance to the Signature facility. Dropped me off and picked me back up at the Convent railroad station. Overall, very nice experience.
