Nice runway and airport. Arrived on a Saturday after the FBO had closed (around 1pm local time), and could not find a restroom. Toured the hangars and everything was locked up tight. No other pilots around to ask. Walked across the street, the fishing store refused to let me use theirs. They helpfully suggested there was a gas station about 2mi up the road that "might" let me use theirs. Luckily there is a lot of grass on the airport. :/ The fuel meter did not reset and started at 36.0 for me, but it billed me correctly.

A friend and I flew through MPR on our way to Bolivar, Mo (M17). We flew in a 0100, so there wasn't anyone there to help us. But the next day, the guy working the front desk, Nathan Hawkinson, met us there and help us fuel our plane and got us some maps. KMPR will definitely be a fuel stop from now on if I'm out there. Runways are in excellent condition and the people there are great. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Arrived on a late winter day where the winds were blowing at 20-29 kts. Straight across the paved runway. Heard another pilot using the crosswind grass runway and, after he confirmed the condition of the runway, elected to land a Cherokee with wheel pants on it. Good idea! Possibly the smoothest grass runway I've ever used! Also concur with previous commenters. Mike the airport manager met me at the fuel pumps ($.60-$1.00 less than most other area airports) and offered to pump the fuel. Nice facilities inside: PC with Internet, clean bathrooms, etc.

This past July we were headed west and stopped in for some fuel on a Tuesday. We casually mentioned we'd be heading back home Friday. They tracked our tail number and stayed open late Friday so we could gas up and the ladies could use the restroom. A+ service, guys. Thanks!

Stopped here for fuel on the way back from Oshkosh. Fuel is self serve but manager met me at the plane and helped with the refueling. Very helpful with weather and route planning. Winds that day were 20 knots gusting to 28 straight down the runway, the manager said that these were "calm" winds. Recommend this airport very highly!

Great service, very appreciative of my business, clean operation. I highly recommend it

So it's been 2 months since finding this place and I must say that I'm very happy to make this my first fuel stop whenever starting a XC to the north or whenever I can work it in. Rick, the airport manager, is a very nice guy who will go out of his way to make sure everything is as expected. I'm an overly critical person who cannot be more impressed with this facility. If you're passing the area, do general aviation a favor and give these guys some support... All too often we have to pay high prices and receive poor service at larger airports.

This is a gem. We stopped for Jet fuel. Truck delivery and they said call out is free 24 hours after hours. The lobby is new and washrooms are modern and clean. There is computer, Satellite TV, planning room and more which is unusual for a small rural airport. We had two gentlemen fuel our TBM and were thanked a dozen times for our business. The price is right for this type of service. Highly recommended.

This is the kind of place general aviation is all about. Incorrect intel. Said that the Mogas pump was self-serve. This was not the case and the facility is not attended after 12p on Saturdays. Rick (airport manager) came out just minutes after we called for assistance and noted that the hours posted were incorrect. His attentiveness changed my degrading opinion of this facility. In fact, I was so impressed with Rick's friendliness, I setup a long-term account at the airport and plan to return often. Great place with great people.

We stopped twice for fuel, once heading from the east coast to the west, and then again on the return trip. Rick, the Airport Manager, helped us with our rental car arrangement in Phoenix when the FBO there said they could not help and suggested a great little deli in town for a quick lunch. On the return trip, he made our motel arrangements, gave us a loaner and even helped us with a small technical problem. Basically, the kind of service you wish you would get at every airport. Thanks again.
