Had a quick turn, temp was 6F, wind chill -6F, and the line team at Wisconsin Aviation were one of the best I've experienced in over 40 years in the business. They marshaled us to the front door, got our passengers in their waiting ride, and had the requested quick turn truck up ASAP. We had JUST started to move when the marshaller had us hold up for another jet to taxi in, and honestly, his directions, hand signals, etc., were some of the best I've ever seen. Wing walkers stood where they needed, engaged where needed, and were actually pleasant! Also, couldn't help but notice while the airplane was being fueled, two of the guys were walking around the ramp with a shovel trying to clean off the icy spots. Well done, wish we could frequent this place again!

Ended up with a dead battery on departure. The line staff was a great help in getting me into a place where I could charge up and go. The pilots lounge was a nice place to kill the 2 hours we had to wait.

Used Wisconsin Aviation several times. Line and CSR's are great. No ramp fee BUT they charge ramp-overnight with no waiver for fuel (put in over 500 gallons). I spoke to the Manager (Rick) and he never called me back. After 5 nights, they accidentally charged me for 6 nights. When I finally heard back from Rick (after calling again), he basically told me "we can't waive Ramp overnights because we would have to waive for everyone". No choice in Madison - only FBO

I stopped here for an overnight to visit Oshkosh. Great service, reasonable prices, and a beautiful drive to Oshkosh. Hotel and car rentals will save you enough money to make it worthwhile.

I have visited here many times over the years. Stopped by this week in my Eclipse for a couple hours and the aircraft was fueled promptly. No ramp fees! Response from Rick Petroff, FBO Manager (Madison), Wisconsin Aviation-Madison Mr. Feingold, we appreciate your comment and look forward to servicing your needs in the future.

Really bad service, we arrived to pick up passengers and they wouldn't even come to help bring our catering or help with the passenger's bags. Response from Rick Petroff, FBO Manager (Madison), Wisconsin Aviation-Madison Mr. Glavis, unfortunately I hadn't started until after your visit. Missteps like what you have described in your comment are not taken lightly, as the new FBO Manager I will do everything I can to make sure these issues are addressed with staff and changes are made so this situation doesn't happen again.

Worst service I have ever seen at an FBO. Arrived in snowing blowing conditions. Called on the radio 10 minutes out to check on passengers’ rental car. He said that's not their department and he won't check. Then they park us at the far end of the ramp a good 1/4 mile away and there was clearly open parking close to the FBO entrance. They show up in an open golf cart with soaking wet seats for our passengers and crew. I asked if they had a vehicle to transport our passengers, they said no! So our choices were to sit on soaking wet seats out in 30-degree windy weather or walk all the way to the FBO. Real professional operation! This is very basic FBO stuff. Once we were done walking to the FBO in the snow & wind there were 4 people behind the counter just BS'n about personal stuff and didn't even acknowledge our existence. This place needs to spend some time training at a real FBO and step up their game. I hope I never have to come to Madison again as this is the only FBO on the field. Response from Rick Petroff, FBO Manager (Madison), Wisconsin Aviation-Madison Mr. Good, unfortunately I hadn't started until after your visit. Missteps like what you have described in your comment are not taken lightly, as the new FBO Manager I will do everything I can to make sure these issues are addressed with staff and changes are made so this situation doesn't happen again.

Above and beyond. A line of T-Storms 200nm wide swept down on Madison. At midnight, I went to the field and the line team (Taylor) helped me find a hangar to squeeze into. One of their instructors (Greg) who I recently made the acquaintance of even drove in on his own to help out. Talk about outstanding service!!!
