Stopped in on the way back from Oshkosh. No self-serve. Had to wait for the attendant to finish moving planes before he would fuel us. Fuel was a dollar a gallon more than advertised on AirNav and $1.45 more than we paid at Oshkosh for full serve. When I complained, the attendant told me "That's what you have to pay when you come here". After spilling fuel over the top of my wing, down the fuselage and on the ground, I took over fueling the second tank while the attendant smeared the fuel around on the other side. I had to ask him to clean the fuel twice before he would do it properly. On top of that, when I went to pay the bill, I was charged for an extra half a gallon of fuel in addition to that which went on the ground. My advice. Stay out of this airport unless it's an emergency.

Flew in on a Sunday. Fuel was $1.00 more per gallon than as shown on AirNav. Had to find someone to get fuel (no SS). Nice facilities and restaurant.

Central Illinois Air goes out of their way to help out. Quick gas service, full service FBO. The airport is also a first rate facility with a grass runway.

Coles County airport is my favorite for "fly in for breakfast"; it is located only 35 miles from my home base. Excellent restaurant, huge breakfasts very good people. On one of my recent visits, just after landing a flat wheel situation accrued and I found myself confined to the airport until replacement parts arrived. The local FBO was very helpful, providing me tow and hangar services, refused to charge me for anything, great people, great airport.

Stopped in today with my son for lunch in a T206H. Great airport restaurant. Would have taken on fuel if offered, but no pressure from line service. No extra fees charged. Looked like a good operation. Will try and fuel the next time. Very cold and the snow was cleared from ramp, and it made the taxi easy.
