I stopped for less than 5 minutes to drop off a part for a fellow pilot and was greeted with a $40 ramp fee because I was a twin (Comanche), while singles would have no fee for the same service. I will not be back.

Response from Shawn Rabideau, Line Manager, Midwest Aviation
I understand your frustration on having to pay a ramp fee for such a short visit. Our ramp fee structure was never meant to create a burden for the noncommercial GA community, but as a way to offset operating costs from commercial users that use our facilities and do not purchase fuel. Like you said, we do not charge a ramp fee for single engine piston aircraft and we will be making exceptions for twin piston non-commercial aircraft in the future. If you would like to contact us, we would be happy to issue you a full refund. We hope you change your mind and come visit us again! Respectfully

Stopped for fuel. Received a quick turn and reasonable price from friendly linemen. Tower operator was also friendly and helpful. Bonus: One of the staff had just made peach ice cream and shared it with my wife and me right out of the maker!

Eric and Brett provided fast service for quick turn. Reasonable fuel price. We'll stop here again.

The FBO was phenomenal and the staff was always willing to work with you. I was here for two weeks on business and my aircraft was always hangared and fueled upon my arrival in the morning. They have a nice relaxing pilot lounge and there is a crew car available if you need to get into town.

I needed some maintenance to get airborne, they called up a mechanic who was off duty, got some parts from Paducah, and let me use their hangar to fix the plane. They really helped me out and got me on my way!
