Arrived Friday evening 9 pm as briefed, radioed 20 min out for a taxicab. No such luck. Waited an additional 45 min on the ground (over an hour since radio call) for a cab. While waiting Deja Vu struck: this had happened to me at KNEW previously and that time I had promised myself to book a limo if I ever returned here. Maybe I'll remember next time, taxicabs can be VERY hard to come by at this airport/FBO. I don't think it is the FBO's fault, just that the airport is pretty remote, nothing else in the area. Nevertheless, everyone was very friendly, even the cab driver; line service was attentive (3 guys tending to a Bonanza), with everyone I met apparently trying to entice visitors and make us feel welcome. I wasn't looking forward to this business trip to New Orleans, but aside from the usual cab delays it was a great trip.

Fantastic new office and construction moving at a fast pace for their new complex. Laura and Van best CS reps you can find. Its worth the little extra on fuel costs to experience great service to say the least. The line crew is top notch as well. Bored talk to the GM he will make you laugh if you get him going. Great FBO!!!!

This FBO is the model of customer service in the industry. You will not lift a finger for anything if you let Addie, Laura, Van, or any of the other staff know what you want/need. Call them on the radio when you are 15 mins out and they will have your rental/taxi/hotel reservations/dinner reservations ready by the time that you get there. I showed up there two days after Hurricane Gustav, and Laura was sitting inside with a lantern and a set of car keys for me. Every visit there meets me with this same level of service.

Kudos to the staff at Odyssey Aviation. Laura Booth (Customer Service Manager) went out of her way to provide details for our visit ahead of time and had a cab waiting upon arrival to take us into town (Henry Adams is fantastic! Can be reached at 504-458-2921. $21 fare into town from KNEW). Met by two linemen who assisted us with all of our needs. Don't forget to ask for the AOPA fuel discount! Highly recommend Odyssey!

Our flight department has been using Odyssey (formerly Million Air) for nearly 8 years now at Lakefront with nothing less than a positive result. Addie, Laura, Van and all the guys have never failed to provide excellent and friendly service at a reasonable price. Luxurious crew cars, homemade cookies and unparallel hospitality are only a few of the high points with every visit. Despite the hardships of Katrina, they still continue to be first class in every way. I can't wait to see them in their new facility!

The fuel price would suggest a higher quality facility. The waiting room is a double wide. This might be unavoidable, but the flat screen television with the garbled sound and the green-tinged, burnt-in image is not. It looks like the new building is a long way off and I think they could do a little better to make up for it. Returning to the location the taxi driver had difficulty finding his way through the maze of construction fences. Would it be that difficult to post some signs with the logo and name with a big arrow? The plane was handled well, the WiFi worked, and the bathroom was clean. They weren't that busy and I would have enjoyed a little more service, which is what I expect from Odyssey (nee Million Air).

Hello to ODYSSEY AVIATION, Just wanted to note that my last visit to your facility, which was the 24th-26th, was EXCELLENT! Special attention to Miss Laura Booth. She did a wonderful job and is very kind, has a GREAT attitude, works VERY hard to make sure all your needs are taken care of. I'm looking forward to my next trip to NEW.. Keep up the great work LAURA!!!!

Amazing (typical Million Air) service! Van is not only super efficient but has a great attitude as cute as a picture as well. Addie serves the Million Air reputation to a "T". He is knowledgeable and VERY helpful an asset to Million Air. We will use Lakefront AND Million Air from now on.

Flew in for an overnight. Addie Fanguy (General Manager) was very helpful. I enjoyed his stories of the hurricane. I'm sure he has been forced to tell them a thousand times! Thanks for humoring me Mr. Fanguy. Fuel is high but still the cheapest way to visit downtown. Cab is about 20 bucks to downtown.

Stopped in this afternoon to refuel following the prosecution of a SAR case. My crew and I were starving. Laura, the customer service rep kindly offered the use of a crew car (a shiny BMW) and directions to Russell's Marina Grill Cafe. It was the best shrimp PoBoy I've had in a long time. I'll continue to use Million Air any time I'm in the NOLA area.

Not good! They damaged my 12-hour plane on the way home from the Piper Factory and denied it. The paint chips were still hanging on the scratch when I showed it to the line guy. I took photos and they adamantly denied it.
Response from Addie Fanguy,General Manager Million Air First of all Mr. Borden the scratch of your paint is unfortunate. However, I tried several times to call you and you simply refused to call me back. Making a statement to give you your fuel for free or pay for the scratch over a text message is unacceptable. Your secretary stated you were hunting and she would relay the message for you to call me. To this date you have never responded. Choosing rather to spend time on this site with comments that may be totally inaccurate. The lineman that towed your aircraft has been with Million Air for 15 years and is one of the best. The offer still stands to call me if you would like to resolve this is a proper manner.

This is my second Million Air FBO I have visited. The staff did not have what I expected. All was going well. I radioed in about 20 min out and a cab was waiting. I was asked to call on my return and my plane will be waiting. The staff inside was as good as expected. The gentleman outside was not. He pointed to my plane tied down out on the ramp and I carried my bags half way till some one notice I needed assistance.

Went into Million Air on a pop up decision by the owner. With 20 minutes notice they had limo standing by, hotel rooms for the pilots as well as reservations for Emerils restaurant. They were very busy with at least 10 aircraft but the services and hospitality was excellent.

Good service, people and facility. Overnight parking of $25 is higher than it was in spring and no longer waived for fuel purchase. A better choice than MSY, certainly, which is much more expensive and farther away from the downtown.

The Hurricane may have set them back as far as their buildings, but did not affect their hospitality. Was just there with a B-25 and had a wonderful experience with everyone at Millionaire. They could not have been more friendly and helpful!

Visited Lakefront and Million Air Tuesday July 31. The tower is back and open as of Monday and there is clearance delivery on the field, ground control, and tower. Made it a lot easier. Hours are limited; I believe 8am to 6pm only. Million was a great help. I called when I was 15 min out for an overnight tie down and a taxi and when we landed we were promptly greeted by staff and our taxi was waiting. It was raining out and they met us planeside with an umbrella. Great service and very helpful. Will be back!

Stayed overnight in KNEW with our PA-28R. Great service from Million Air. Cab was already arranged as we arrived! But: Ramp fee of 9, 5$ was not waived with (high priced) fuel purchase. But still the cheapest way to stay overnight in New Orleans.

Staff was helpful and friendly. They do charge a ramp fee of $15 unless you buy a minimum of 20-gallons of fuel though.

Even though Million Air is the only FBO on the field at NEW you would never know it. Service is still top notch and much cheaper fuel prices that MSY. These guys have over come unbelievable odds after Katrina to be where they are. Not many FBO's could have pulled this off as far as I am concerned. The CSR and line staff are great. The GM told me they have finally gotten approval to break ground on their new terminal. This should start within the next 45 days. Great organization!!!

Addie - one can only imagine what y'all went through during and after Katrina. Great comeback for what you had left to make it a GO again. You are doing a great job and I trust with your positive, kind, courteous and supportive attitude you will be a winner all the way. Thanks for everything, also to the line personnel and the always upbeat and helpful Laura! Y'all have a great Christmas.
