Stopped here today during an IFR X-C. Easy In, Easy Out and everyone was super friendly. Plane was fueled promptly and Flight planning room was well equipped.

From Keith Doersom on 04-May-2008
Flew in May 4th for the Richmond night race and couldn't have been treated any better. Was offered the courtesy car to go get some thing to eat. Jackson couldn't have given my any better service, Thanks Jackson

Flew in on 10/14/07 and was greeted promptly. Very nice personnel

Stopped in to meet a colleague for lunch. Friendly and competent staff, clean facilities, and ample pilot lounge & computer station. Excellent FBO!

From Luke Krepsky on 22-Jul-2006
Nice FBO, a little dust from remodeling going on... Lounge was very nice, wireless, nice crew car, and friendly people. A pleasant experience overall.

I have flown my 1961 Piper Colt from W90 to KOFP two times in the last month and wanted to express my gratitude for the courteous service I have received from the FBO employees. The Mercedes is also very convenient for those quick trips. Keep up the great service and hope to see you soon!

I have recently transferred my training to Hanover. What a difference in the way many FBO's are run and how this facility is run and maintained. Modern facilities, friendly faces, knowledgeable instructors. Their fleet of rental planes are meticulously cared for. Very nice planes that seem to be always available to meet my schedule. I recently visited their Farmville location and found a mirror image of tidy, modern facilities. These guys are for real!!

All the positive comments made previous to this posting are well deserved. After a 3 1/2 hour flight from upstate New York to bring a friend to the Richmond area on personal business, my co-pilot and I fell asleep in the lounge on the recliners. Seeing this, the staff turned off the TV and the lights and closed the doors. And when were you ever offered the use of a late model Mercedes as a courtesy car?

From Paul Mandel on 30-Sep-2005
What a great friendly airport. By the time I turned off there was a lineman to direct me. I told him to top me off and I was back in the air in less then 15 minutes. Fair fuel prices for the Richmond area. I'll be back.

Flew into OFP on 6/10. In spite of the business associated with the NAASCAR race here, everyone was very attentive and friendly. When entering the airport area, our request for information was promptly returned on Unicom right away. After landing, we were radioed parking instructions via Unicom. A friendly but very busy lineman promptly met and helped tie us down. The voice behind the Unicom, a very pleasant multitasking young woman cheerfully greeted us when we entered the FBO. Fuel prices were exactly as published on AirNav. Restrooms were clean in sprite of heavy use. These folks know how to run and maintain an FBO. A great place for some other, less fortunate FBO owners to come to see how it's supposed to be done! We'll be back!

Fly into OFP several times a year for NASCAR events. Always get friendly and prompt service. Fuel prices are fair. The airport location is excellent for getting around the area. Jenna couldn't be more helpful.

My first stop here -- came up from RDU to bring my son and his friends to Kings Dominion. Helpful, friendly staff, nice facility. They let me use the beautiful Benz crew car a couple of times. I hung out in the comfortable pilot's lounge with my laptop (wireless access) much of the day. When weather wouldn't let me out that night, they set me up at a nearby hotel and let me use the crew car to get there. Excellent folks!

From Daniel Morgan on 27-Jun-2005
We flew in the other day and everybody there was helpful and friendly. There was no ramp or overnight fee and the next day our route was covered with thunderstorms so we waited in the pilot's lounge which offers lazy-boy chairs and sofa as well as a computer that is internet ready. The next time our trips takes us near here we will stop again.

From Phil Gomez on 11-Jun-2005
I used this field instead of RIC, based on previous comments here on AirNav and it was exactly as described - very friendly service without having to ask. Lineman noticed my windshield was dirty (bug splats) and asked if it was okay to clean it. Very friendly; very professional. Thanks to all!

From Lionel Lavenue on 30-May-2005
Great place. Wife and I stopped here for the day and visited Kings Dominion (10 miles north). They had Enterprise rental car available. No parking fee for the day. Very friendly service. I'll be back.

From David Williams on 25-May-2005
I fly into KOFP frequently and always receive "top-notched" service. Friendly FBO staff with prompt fuel service and nice crew car. My tie-down fee was waived with fuel purchase. Competitive fuel prices!

From Darren Fonseca on 17-May-2005
Absolutely the greatest FBO I have ever been to. Like others have said, they don't have the Marble foyers and restrooms that the big jet chains offer, but they take the prize for level of service and friendliness. Mercedes crew car aside, the lineman offered his own vehicle should the crew car not be available. High speed internet, pilot lounge, and staff that seems like family, if all FBO's were like this the number of people flying in general aviation would be significantly higher. If you are going to Richmond, no question, make this your stop. Service like this needs to be rewarded.
