Visited on Feb 4, 2011. New concrete runway in 2010. New manager/FBO operator/A&P mechanic, Jake Dvorak, on Nov 1, 2010. Very friendly and helpful. FOUR courtesy cars. Excellent airport to visit.

Nice airport facility with multiple courtesy cars. Self serve worked great. Don't try to do an instrument approach without someone to watch for ag planes totally ignoring your radio calls and back taxiing during your final...Made for an interesting aborted landing.

Stopped in on 6/29/09 and again on 7/02/09. Both times was met at the pump and given friendly, attentive service. Terminal building is very nice with clean restrooms, comfortable seats, and internet/weather terminal. Comment about NORDO ag planes is true, so keep your eyes open, but then again it's true of just about every nontowered airport in the Midwest.

Fuel is kind of pricey for a self-service airport, but the service is friendly and folks helpful. They have a hangar that is available for free if you are worried about hail/thunderstorms. BTW--be very conscious of the crop dusters that frequent the airport. They don't seem to monitor the UNICOM and are in an out a lot.
