This was our first time to stop for fuel. Usually fly over the top! Competitive prices on fuel and in the right place. Very clean facilities (read the instructions and pilots can open the door!). Richard was available by telephone and a call answered all the questions. Will do this again.

Very nice airport. We had wanted to land in the evening, but the pilot controlled lighting was out of service, so we came in the next morning instead. Van from the local Ford dealership was in the lot and ready to go when we arrived.

I stopped here with my 150/150 HP on one of my time building X-C's this morning. The fuel pump is a bit weird, but once you get the hang of it, it serves its purpose. I second the comment on the lounge, it is real nice.

Monette Ford is very helpful, and appears to be the only place to get a rental car. We were arriving on a Sunday and they made arrangements to have a vehicle (older mini-van, but it ran well) at the location, and we dropped it off there by the same method. It was a little difficult getting the credit card and driver's license thing worked out, but, once done, everything went well.

New AWOS-3 installed, not yet listed in airport description. Freq. = 118.325. FINALLY, weather reporting at ONM!

I've never seen a gas pump/credit card machine like this, took me a while to figure it out (that college degree of mine did nothing for me at this pump.) But despite the "funkiness" of this pump (if you want a receipt, you have to swipe your credit card a second time!) but despite this "Dr. Jekyll - Mr. Hyde" fuel pump, everything worked fine, even on a Labor Day weekend. What blew me away was the pilot lounge. Gads is it NICE! You enter the CTAF number on the padlock on the front door to get in. Super clean restrooms await you, a place to kick up your heels and even totally ADA compliant! I wish my home airport (Bruce Field, Ballinger, TX. E30) were 1/8th this clean, convenient and well managed.
