Great facilities, great people, cheap fuel, great location, etc.... We flew down from Canada & the airport manager stayed overtime just to help us. Would recommend to any XC flyers looking for cheap fuel stop. The airport was a little though to find when coming from the north.

Flew in for reasonable fuel prices and stayed for the coffee, fresh strawberries and most gracious hospitality! Wonderful runway. Good place to stop! Thank you!

I tied my plane down for a week. No charge. Gas was reasonable and the staff very helpful. Great little airport.

I landed here on my way back from Sun 'n Fun to take advantage of the low fuel price. I was immediately greeted by a fellow Cardinal owner who has a house lot at the airport. He invited me into the FBO to set a spell and chat with him and some local pilots. Very friendly place. They offered to fix me breakfast the next time I come, and I definitely will come again. I look forward to the great hospitality.

I stopped by for fuel on October 2nd. Very friendly staff, best fuel prices around, and a great facility! I'll definitely be back.

To call the airport, use 252-453-8032.... NOT the County Administrative offices listed, 252-232-2075.

Best 100LL fuel prices around! I helped some friends with a repair on the island that took a week. Currituck was the closest airport. After my stay and fill-up I was told there would be NO tie-down fees! New facility, friendly staff, amazing prices! Thank you Currituck.

New, clean facilities, with a nice weather briefing station. Shower available in one of the bathrooms. VERY quiet drome, but folks are friendly & helpful. No tie down fee, $3.35 for 100LL self-serve. Long, wide runway. Rental cars available from Enterprise in Eliz. City. Great place -- I'll be back!

Nice airport--still extending the runway (or so it would appear). Best 100LL fuel prices around! I didn't use the facilities but they seemed nice from the ramp. The receipt printer was broken on the pumps--not a big deal to me, but might be for some. I'm reasonably certain it'll be fixed soon. The locals are very friendly! I'll definitely stop in again.

Over the Labor Day weekend I used the facilities. The airport is not manned so resources are limited. The price of the fuel was as advertised and the bathrooms were open and clean. I suggest you take a copilot with you for refueling since the hose and nozzle is very heavy and tough to position when refueling. Also, make sure that you ground the airplane and have the nozzle ready to fuel at the wing or the pump will "time out" before you get everything set.
