What a gem of an airport KONZ is! Easy in and out under the class B with a great FBO. I landed and parked right in front of the FBO. They gave me an old cop car to drive for 3 hours during which time they tugged my Bo to the self fuel, fueled it for me, and then had it waiting for me when we got back. These guys are awesome. As a bonus, they had fresh coffee and cookies free of charge. I will top off every time I use this airport. There will be no reason to use Metro again. I will use this airport anytime I am South of the city.

Arrived around 8:00pm Friday night. Rick at Brooklyair left the crew car key for us. Mike at Pictures in Motion helped us to locate the key and put the airplane in the big hangar. Saturday evening I used the crew car again to pick my wife up. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Thank you all for your help.

Stopped here in August 2004. They have a nice "hotel" The Pilot House behind the Navy hanger. You can walk down the street to a pizza joint for dinner. FBO was open, the guy gave me the "local" fuel card so I got the based there price. Office was open and nicely equipped. It was a nice stop on a coast to coast trip. Worth stopping again.
