Stopped in for a hundred dollar hamburger. Landed 32 with a 1659 foot displaced threshold. Quite interesting place. No fees for tie down even wthout fuel. Would stop in again, good cheap eats at Sharon's white cloud.

Stopped at Orange for the first time yesterday to grab a bite to eat at White Cloud. Very nice little restaurant at the entrance to the field. Best place in town as I was told by the management "The other place is a greasy spoon". I like this place. Good food, prices average, people friendly, good sense of humor. I tied down my 172 right in front of the FBO, at there provided tie downs, because the wind was starting to blow. No fees. Nice maintenance hangar next to the FBO. Very clean and professional establishment.

First time into Orange for an EAA FLY in Breakfast. There is a go kart or motorcycle practice area right at the end of Rwy 19 that is X'd out with a yellow X. For a newcomer in poor light you have no idea if it is an extension of Rwy 19, the entrance of Rwy 1 or what the heck you are looking at. Be very careful if you are flying in for the first time!
