Signature Norfolk's people are very service oriented, friendly and efficient. I fly small single engine planes and have always been well treated here. While Signature is pricier than other small airplane FBOs you definitely get value - the facility is so well designed with (I think) award winning looks, I don't think other Signatures even in BWI or IAD can compare on looks and décor. There are great aviation historical artifacts on the walls. The lounges have a lot of connectivity for pilots & passengers. Signature staff can & will recommend discount hotels nearby and suggest your taste nearby restaurants. They do have a week-end fuel discount of $1/gal. I am a fan.

I just flew as a volunteer pilot for Veterans Airlift Command with a Navy Seal and his family back from a therapy session in Florida. Landmark gave us a 1$/gallon discount from their exorbitant fuel price which still left the fuel very expensive. Then they took their time to fuel the plane and held us up about 1/2 hour extra. All that with an empty ramp (and I can see why).

Private 500-hour pilot not accustomed to International airports but was given the red carpet treatment by the great folks at Landmark. I was combining a Virginia Aviation Ambassador's passport stamp with a Pilots and Paws mission originating from SFQ. From the marshaller to the terminal staff, everyone was super nice and very professional. Definitely a place to stop when you're in the Virginia Beach area.

Updates of facility and service great - however on a Sunday arrived in Cessna 182. On deck for 3 hours. Airplane not moved from arrival. Chocks in place. Handling/facility fee $40 (or buy 7 gal gas @ $6.54 gal), landing fee $13.89, security fee $5 for total of $58.89. (Had lunch with friends in upscale restaurant for 2 for less than $50. Stopped on way home and filled tank for $3.60 gal). Certainly will rethink any future plans to use ORF in the future.

It has been nearly 10 years since I have flown into KORF due to the fees since Landmark succeeded Piedmont Aviation and as a one man business it hard to justify the expense. I emailed Steven Schell, GM, stating that I fly a 55 year old bird not a G-600. I chuckled at his reply as he stated that I would receive the same treatment. Further, in a diplomatic manner, he extended an invite to fly in to see the improvements and if I wasn't pleased that he would GIVE me 10 gallons to fly to one of the satellite airports. Upon arrival Steven gave me a personal tour of the FBO. To my delight many of his staff is former military and the highlight was being marshaled clear of the ramp on departure by the Line Service Manager Jeffrey Newman in true military style. The treatment was indeed CEO level and the renovations to the facility are impressive. I never rate an experience as excellent, as I feel the rating borders on 'walk on water' performance, but for Landmark KORF it was excellent.

Managed the BPT INC weekend training clinic. All aspects from hotel room block, catering, line management, hangar management, security, and beautiful conference rooms was professional and absolutely well done. The fuel discount to our customers was extremely well received as well as the great service all around. Steve, Cecille, Ray, and all the team are superb!!!

At KORF for weekend of recurrent training. Met Steve and his staff after spending several days flying and using the FBO. Steve and his his team provide fabulous service and ALL the CSRs and line techs ALWAYS bend over backwards to provide what you need when you need it, and always with a smile. I was truly impressed. That's quite an achievement as I've been flying for 35 years, and I've seen a lot of FBOs. These guys are at the top of their game, and they have my thanks.

Stopped in ORF to pick up a passenger and was hit with a $290.00 facility fee or 110 gallons of overpriced Jet A. I opted for the fuel and it took forever to get fueled even though they where not at all busy. It took longer to fuel than the trip there. I will try my best to avoid this FBO in the future.

Recently diverted our PA46 Malibu to KORF on way to Florida after experiencing a CHT exceedance. Had our pet dog on board that needed to get back to vet in Florida for critical treatment. The entire team at Landmark was awesome and clearly went out of their way to get the plane evaluated and resolve issue so that we could resume flight later that afternoon. Al DiRosa, the mechanic got to work right away. In addition, Greg Grantham the ASM was there as well and they were supported by Angel Rodriguez and Jim Merritt their Chief Inspector. Also, the crew cars were out so they drove me to a take out restaurant to get some lunch for my wife while she was waiting with our dog for the repairs to be finished. They made an unscheduled stop as painless as possible. Kudos to the entire team.
