Arrived just prior to snow/ice storm. Air Charter put our Baron in their corporate hangar. When the snowstorm hit Tommy called to see what our plans for departure were. When we arrived the next day the Baron had the engine heaters plugged in and a tug hooked up to pull the plane out of their hangar. This has to be one most courteous FBO's I have been to in a long time! I'll definitely be back and will go out of my way to purchase fuel anytime I'm near- 5 stars aren't enough! KORK is a great alternate to KLIT!

We used Little Rock Jet Center to hangar our Skylane. When we returned at 4:30pm Friday they were closed up tight with no phone number or contact information. Thanks to Harry at Barrett Aviation he contacted one of the line guys to come and get the plane out of the hangar. This was our first trip to KORK. When we go back we will be using Barrett or we will not go back! The new pilot center and terminal is very nice as is the staff.

Went to ORK rather than LIT and found it to be a very pleasant experience. Lightening had struck the self serve fuel pump during the night putting it out of commission pending repairs, however, Barrett which is three hangars down, was quick to bring out the truck for a top off and let us use their loaner car for lunch. The new city terminal is clean and offers 24-hour access to the pilot lounge, which offers computer access, restrooms and a shower. Easy in, easy out, friendly service and a nice place to spend a night when the weather stops cooperating. I do not know what else to ask for.

Lot of work going on which is not well coordinated. Updates from A/P Mgmnt are typically not accurate -difficult to know what R/W's, T/W's, etc., are open at any given time. Mgmnt has said patrons WILL BE inconvenienced and "just have to live with it". SS 100LL $ is good, but the facility is hard to find, and at times in poor condition. Take up reel for the grnd cable doesn't lock in place when the cable is extended. SS fuel may not be accessible due to work on ramps, T/W's. City's taking over the facilities now managed by ACE, which has been confusing. New City terminal building isn't much use to transient pilots. No one in the building who can take a direct fuel order, or provide other aircraft services - have to contact FBO's (2 on the field). All is disjointed and not up to a modern FBO/Terminal standard. Recommend avoiding ORK until difficulties are sorted out and customer priorities fixed.

Friendly staff and cheap fuel. If you are a stranger the FBO is hard to find since there is no sign---it is the hangar that is closest to runway 5-20 on the west side with all the Biz-Jets on the ramp. They are building a new one. BTW--if you are IFR you can contact Little Rock Clearance Delivery on 121.6 right from the ramp for an IFR departure. You can also pick up the Little Rock ATIS on the ramp. Good place to go if you are in Little Rock for business or pleasure.
