More of the same bad experience. Unfortunately I didn't read these reviews before choosing KOSU as a destination for a visit to Columbus. I learned first hand that they had no interest at all in looking into a small squawk on my Columbia 400. If you want to have somewhere that will actually take care of you when visiting, go somewhere else.

New management has gutted services. Mechanics and avionics shop had an exodus of employees and will no longer service aircraft. Line service for non-jet aircraft is almost non-existent.

Don't recommend, won’t service your plane. As of December 7th 2021 the OSU maintenance shop ceased all over the counter retail part sales and will only focus on the flight school aircraft and Cirrus aircraft for maintenance. No forewarnings to transient pilots who use their maintenance or avionics services.

I have been flying into KOSU airport for years. The service has always been excellent and above and beyond expectations. I also own & operate FBO's in the Southeast US. Some pilots don't realize that services cost the FBO money and there is no way to recapture those costs with out ramp fees or fuel sales.
