Twice in the last month while visiting Seattle I had unforseen problems with my Bonanza that grounded me. Both times Brian, head of Maintenance, found a way to shoehorn my plane into a busy schedule. His and the other mechanics' concern with customer service and customer satisfaction is obvious. The entire operation is a pleasure to deal with. Glad I found them.

We tied down with Regal Air on what was to be an overnight stay until our attitude indicator died on start-up the next morning. The staff at Regal couldn't have been more helpful. Stephanie (at the front desk) was particularly helpful with printing out documents, getting us directions to where we'd be staying, etc. The whole operation looks first-class and I'd definitely stop here any time I have occasion to be at Paine Field. The lady running the associated airport shop let us in a little after hours to buy oil. They even waived the very reasonable $3-per-night fee with a fuel purchase. Friendly, helpful folks.

Horrible, unreliable service. I signed up with them one month in advance to do an intensive, two week instrument training course. Flew in from out of state and met with the chief pilot, who had scheduled no time with any instructors for me. Being summer in Seattle, they were all booked and I'd be lucky to get in a few flights a week. Her only possible solution was to fly with a different instructor every flight. Her only excuse was "when I checked the schedule a month ago all the slots were open!" Stay away.

I'm from Maryland and flew a Citabria into Boeing Field to go on the Boeing Factory tour. We parked at Regal Air. The tour center was by itself on the other side of this big airport. Regal Air was incredibly helpful, calling the tour center to see if a shuttle service was available -- there wasn't -- and then having an employee drive us over, and then back again, for no charge. I felt bad that we didn't need any fuel, but was so impressed by the fact that Regal bent over backwards to help a pilot flying a little plane. That's the mark of a business that provides exception service to all customers, big and small. Highly recommended!
