Parking is $8.50 each 24 hours now. Still a great deal, considering it'll cost me $20+/day to park my *car* at any major airports around the country

$8 per night isn't exorbitant at all, in my opinion. However, I received an $8 bill for parking at PAO for 30 MINUTES! Now that...Is exorbitant!

Parking fees are pretty normal for this area. They an extremely busy airport especially given the single 2400ft runway (well over 500 ops per day). The purpose of the fees seems to be to prevent people from parking the aircraft on the ramp and taking up very valuable space unless they absolutely have to. The Fuel Service crew is great as well as quick and efficient. I recommend them.

Paid $8 nite to park - collected by county. This did not seem out of normal for this part of California. Friendly, helpful but EXTREMELY busy with many private small aircraft - I'd guess there were over 300 aircraft parked on this field. If you have never been there get progressive taxi to row "oscar" where transient parking is - can be confusing. No one helps you and we had to push the plane back into the parking spot.
