KPAO is a busy place. Self serve fuel a bit of a challenge due to fueling reel hoses not "catching", wanting to reel in. It took two of us to manage. FBO? None that I saw, and where to exit and enter the perimeter? Tower and ground very good, slight delay getting release from SJC. Transient parking marked, ground very helpful getting there as there are NO taxiway signs. Overnight fees, a nightmare figuring out to pay, even airport management says issues remain after a year. Maybe a 39-something can figure it out? Runway smooth, approach excellent. Good visit, first time, maybe next time? easier?

Like other comments, I have to give 5 stars to Rossi Aircraft for going out of their way to help me on a Sunday afternoon! Tim with his fuel truck advised me that his manager Alberto Rossi was on his way back from a flight and would probably be able to help me. I assumed that meant no, but instead, Alberto arrived early, Tim drove back out to tell us to head over to Rossi, we spoke to Alberto before he had time to even park the King Air 200 he had just flown back for his customer, and he then came out to help start out aircraft. Thank you Alberto, for the stories and help that made our day perfect!
