We fly into KPAO in a C-172SP frequently to visit our daughter and family. Rossi Aviation is always prompt with the fuel truck. Other than that we park in transient parking and pay the overnight fee of $9.50 in the airport office. A busy place with one short runway but the controllers are helpful and manage the traffic well.

I was in for a brief appointment. Mike filled us up right away. My mom had to wait out my visit, and doesn't walk well. Mike also drove her to & from the cafe in a golf cart. Top service!

This is more a comment directed toward the Enterprise Rental Car I had reserved for pickup at Rossi. Enterprise no longer has a desk in the terminal, and if you don't confirm the reservation OVER THE PHONE with them on the day of your arrival --- there will be no car there for you, as I found out. They did try to call me about the time of my planned arrival --- but I WAS IN AN AIRPLANE, FLYING TO THE AIRPORT --- and I didn't receive their call, so no car for you! They are also threatening a $20 drop fee to leave the car back at the airport, even though that's where they (eventually) came to pick me up from! Otherwise, a fine airport, Rossi is quick with the fuel, love the Abundant Air deli (near the base of the beacon)... I chuckled on my way out --- in the run-up area, a woman and her 3-year old son were on the park bench watching the planes takeoff and land... I thought, "oh oh lady, you know you're getting that kid hooked on aviation, don't you?"

Interesting place to land. No real FBO. The tower had me follow the green line to transient parking and one of the county folks helped push my Bonanza into the spot. Rossi serviced my O2 tanks and charged me $5.15 for 62 gallons of avgas quickly. You pay for fuel at the truck. A really busy single runway airport but real convenient to Stanford U. And a super view of the bay when it is clear.
