Liberty Aviation Museum is definitely worth the stop. Lots of great artifacts and educational exhibits, not just aviation, but military and transportation related. Tin Goose Diner is excellent. With good food and friendly service.

Could not have had a better experience, flew into Put in Bay, and blew a tire. Contacting Grffing Flying Service was a Godsend, with Josh Ontko, Director of Maintenance, who found me a replacement tire and time in stock, interfaced with Dustin Schafer, at 3W2 and problem resolved. A very good experience, with a shop that knew their trade and stocked consumable aircraft parts, and went out of this way to assist on the 4th of July weekend. Everyone at Griffing was pleasant and efficient, despite the COVID pandemic. Thank you all. Michael Fisher N615MP - a Lancair Columbia 300

I had been to this great airport once before returning from AirVenture. This time I was heading west on a long cross-country and stopped for breakfast at the Tin Goose Diner, which is on the field by the Liberty Aviation Museum. The Tin Goose is one of the neatest airport restaurants I have been too. Didn't have time to visit the museum but it looks very good. One of these days....
