Great place to stop. I was working in the area and tied down here for two days. The staff was more than helpful. There's 24-hour access to the front lobby and restrooms. No rental car agencies in town, but Royce's Body shop directly across the street can provide a serviceable vehicle.

Visited the Jones Black Angus restaurant just across the street. Good food. Supper Club style restaurant. Great service too.

Runways and ramps are in great shape. Excellent tie downs, but bring your own ropes. Self-serve pumps are easy to use. After hours the front door is open on the parking lot side for access to bathrooms and telephone. During open hours cozy terminal includes coffee and snacks, friendly helpful attendant, and an affable group of fine folks.

Avgas is still 4.19 as of 4-9-09. Self-serve pump is always available though if during day hours the attendant will gladly pump for you and I was welcome to a ride into town for lunch. The bluffs surrounding the airport do create a lot of turbulence so expect it on approach.

3-9-2009 Confirm assisted/SS 100LL was $4.19 - personnel told us that there was no taxi service (or rental car) so decided to push on.

Friendly folks and nice facilities, with snack items like candy and granola bars available. I think there are restaurants close by, but we didn't stop. Downwind for 32 will take you right by a bluff, something to keep an eye on at night.
