Great people and service. We flew an Arrow IV into PIA to play golf at Weaver Ridge (recommended) and Byerly linemen had our rental waiting on the ramp for a load of clubs and golfers. Couldn't have been nicer, even though we only took ten gallons for our short hop home.

Stopped both directions on our flight for gas, great price, used the airport car to grab a bite to eat... Just great service...Nice pilot area with flight planning and computers.. Cookies, popcorn, but quick service. Had to get a hold of our ride since our arrival time had changed. Called them on Unicom and they made the call for us after we had already left. ATC is also very helpful with changes in flight plans...Just a great place to stop

Arrived at 12:45 AM and was promptly met by Don. He helped tie us down and then went inside and ordered a taxi and made a reservation at a hotel. He was also very friendly. It was a welcome bit of hospitality after a long leg. The next morning, the staff was just as friendly and helpful. We were flying a 206 across the country from LA to NY and this was the best FBO we visited.

I was pleasantly surprised by Byerly. Our plane had been stuck there for a few weeks due to maintenance issues, and we went there to retrieve it to bring it back to NC. Danielle is the cute girl at the front desk. She is great and very friendly. The chocolate chip cookies were great. Everybody was great there and very accommodating. We took a courtesy car to a local diner for some Americana in Middle America. I was surprised how easy an in-and-out it was air traffic was as well. They are 534 miles from home, but if I had an opportunity to go through there again it would be a no-brainer...

Byerly has a nice facility and friendly people. My problem is that I am a charter pilot based not too far away. Therefore, I have no problem paying a fee and taking no fuel. After I have done so, it is very rude to tell me that all courtesy cars are out only to have two crews who asked after me take off for lunch. I will most certainly keep this in mind when planning fuel stops for our larger turbine equipment. Keep in mind that just because we are in a light twin today, that doesn't mean that we don't also fly something bigger.Response from Joe Rex, Customer Service Manager, Byerly Aviation Ryan, I am very sorry that we did not have a crew car available for you. We have 3 crew cars, and all were busy at time of your request. I assure you that all crew cars are given out on a first come, first served basis REGARDLESS of the type of equipment being flown. The crew that you were speaking of had already been given the keys when you asked, they were simply securing their airplane before they left. We do our very best to accommodate everyone that needs a car, but at certain busy times we simply don't have enough cars to go around. Again, I personally apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate all of our customers, and strive for 100% satisfaction.

Stopped for fuel and lunch. Easy in/out. Nice cafe at the terminal about a 1/2 block away. Desk staff was very efficient and did a good job. Will stop back on my way south again.

Be advised they charged me $12 per night to park my single engine 4-seated Grumman. One night is waved if you buy 10 gals. of gas.

Diverted to PIA due to WX covering Chicago that prevented us from getting in. Landed moments before lightening and possible hail showed up and the line pushed us into the hangar within moments. Desk hooked us up with pizza delivered, big screen TV’s allowed us to watch our Sunday night shows and the couch was a great place for me (pilot) to get some needed rest. After 4 hours weather cleared and we were able to get on the way with full fuel and happier passengers. Fuel was as competitive as any other and cheaper than most I had seen on AirNav (we got a discount based on the amount we purchased). I will stop by next time on purpose.

Great FBO! Very friendly gal behind the desk, got us a courtesy car, waved parking fee with a small purchase of fuel. In and out, no hassle, and very nice facilities! They even have a flight planning room filled with every enroute, approach plate, and sectional you'll need! Free of charge! Wow! Coming back again! Jon KIIB

Stopped at Byerly Aviation over Thanksgiving for two nights. I added two passengers for the trip to DPA so I could not purchase fuel. When I was all ready to go, the girl behind the counter informed me there was a $45.00 handling fee. I'm back to BMI. Response from Joe Rex, Customer Service Supervisor, Byerly Aviation I am sorry that you had a negative experience while with us at Byerly Aviation. We offer 24 hour service by uniformed, NATA trained line personnel, free coffee, free popcorn, 2 pilot rest areas, flight planning and weather computers, snooze room, free newspapers, courtesy cars, and much more. Unfortunately, these services do come at a cost. We do our best to keep our fees at a reasonable level. The unfortunate truth is that if no one bought fuel or paid any fees, we wouldn't be around to serve you for long! We would love to earn your return business, and hope you understand our position in this matter. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns.

A really nice FBO. Very friendly service. I flew in and then had to delay departure thanks to a line of strong storms between Peoria and my destination. The line personnel tied down all the planes outside when they saw the approaching storm. Definitely a level of service above and beyond the call of duty.

Great FBO, asked for 125 gallons, wound up getting overfueled by 35 Gal on one side, beyond our imbalance. Wound up buying another 35 gallons. AVFUEL CONTRACT PRICES are no good unless you buy 300 gallons or more. They did discount for fuel that wasn't wanted.

I come to Peoria frequently and highly recommend Byerly. I have yet to meet anyone that isn't friendly and helpful. Crew cars are available, they are clean and convenient and the 100LL is reasonably priced.
