Flew in 12/16/2011 for two nights. Line guy upon arrival was very helpful. Line guy on departure was very courteous and helpful on a cold damp morning. Bought 22 gal 100LL, $10 tie-down fee was assessed. Tower folk were pleasant and helpful. Easy use airport. Only down side was the GA terminal reeked of cigarette smoke (I got my mothers excellent sense of smell) and, as Mr. Hartley stated in June, the language/conversation in the office area at my arrival was most certainly adult in nature. Glad my daughter was not with me. Surprising for a public service area.

Topped off the tanks while grabbing a bite to eat at Mary's Plane View. Free popcorn and coffee in the pilot's lounge. It's not a fancy place like the big FBOs by any means, but it gets the job done.

A very underwhelming experience. Lineman was okay. Facilities are really not that great. Not very clean. Courtesy car was helpful, but absolutely filthy. While flight planning with my young daughter in other room, the line guys where talking really loud in the office and dropping obscenities.... But... No other options if this is where you need to go.

Parkersburg has become our go-to fuel and food stop on family trips between New York and Tennessee in our Cherokee. The line staff is always prompt and courteous. Fuel prices are very reasonable for the size of the field. A good meal is always available at Mary's Plane View. Computers are available for planning the next leg of the trip. Terrific stop, we've been here at least five times in the last three years.

I have been here several times just for lunch and the service is always great. We stayed 2 days this time and got 35g of fuel. Then they hit me with the fee for 2 days. I guess I am spoiled with the other FBOs waiving the tiedown fee with a fill up. If I had known before getting gas, I would have waited to get gas at 8G6 and supported an FBO that does waive the fee. Lesson learned. Service is always great but the tie down fee bugs me. If you are renting a car Hertz is your only option. Call the counter though. I called and got a cheaper price than the Hertz website had.

Strong headwinds made for an unplanned fuel stop here after 8:00 pm local time on a Saturday night. Didn't expect to see many people there. But, two very helpful line personnel (and one airport old-timer who was good for some good local aviation stories) were right on the spot. Service was great, fuel price about right for a larger airport, but facilities a little old, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating. If I could, I would rate the service separately with a 5-star. Will not hesitate to stop here again.

Flew in, had tiedown for 3 days. Topped off tanks (only 11 gal). Tiedown fee, but I can't recall what it was. Nice lounge/planning area. Nice folks. Nothing special or eventful.

My mom lives in Parkersburg so I flew in to meet her for lunch on Saturday. Quiet airport and easy to find. Landed and the line guy was at my door. He topped off the tanks while I headed to Mary's. I bought $174 in 100LL and wasn't charged for landing or tie down. I will be back!!

The line crew here is great. Really friendly guys, but $25 to drop off passengers and leave within 10 minutes is just too much. I avoid PKB if possible now.

Been here in the Skylane a couple times in the past year for overnight visits with friends in the area. Always treated to great service, assistance and courtesy regardless of my needs or expenditures. Rental cars are getting a little harder to come by as airline service has been diminishing. Highly recommend it as a pilot friendly stop though.
