Stopped in flying back to Western PA from Kentucky for dinner about an hour before closing. Clientele was mostly local senior citizens and family socializing. Ordered the fried shrimp, which came with a baked potato and a salad, for $7.95, and brought leftovers home. Good food!

My family and I have stopped here five times on flying trips between New York and Tennessee. We always get a good, solid meal with a home-cooking quality to it that's hard to find anymore.

My mom lives in Parkersburg so I flew in to meet her for lunch on Saturday. After reading all of the reviews I picked Mary's as the lunch spot. Landed and the line guy was at my door. He topped off the tanks while I headed to Mary's. The food was great just as the review say. I will be back!!

We flew down for breakfast on Sunday morning. The ramp was empty but... The restaurant was full! Lots of local folks drive to the airport on Sunday for lunch after church services. It was nice to meet Mary, the owner, working right along with her son and granddaughter. This really is a family operation with great food. The pies are OUTSTANDING!! We will certainly be back- excellent class D airport with nice folks working the tower.

We flew in for a fuel stop yesterday, a Sunday. Imagine our surprise to see the restaurant full of people who had just driven out from town, following church, for their regular Sunday dinner. Yes, the food is that good. You definitely want to include this as a fuel stop if you are looking for a lunch break. And, they tell me, their breakfast is even better!

Flew in today for lunch. The food was quite good, and the people were very friendly. The grilled-cheese sandwich was devoured and pronounced "good" by my 7-year old daughter, who is an authority on such things The restaurant is obviously very popular with the local after-church crow; it was nearly full when we got there (11:15 am) and there was a line 10-deep out the door when we left (12:15). Did not have time to try the pie, but it looked excellent as it passed by our table. Next time!
