We recently stopped at Dutchess Aviation on a Pilots n Paws flight. We were transferring some exuberant Black Labs between planes. Matt and Rich and Tony couldn't have been nicer. Not only did they take care of all our aviation needs, when the dogs arrived, they walked them and amused them. Very friendly and efficient. It's the place to go at POU.

Diverted to KPOU due to IMC at KDXR late at night. Matt was closing up but stayed to assist us make arrangements well beyond the call of duty. Could not have asked for better service. Thanks Matt and Dutchess Aviation.

Awesome, in a word describes our most recent experience at this FBO. Rich Ireland had the rental car waiting, and drove up to meet us at the plane. Matt assisted in unloading after a day picking apples and visiting our grandson, and got us on our way in short order. It is an efficient operation, and they even offered to drive us to the other side for some charts. All future stops at KPOU will be with this great bunch!!

I must say my recent experience with Dutchess Aviation in mid July 2011 was very satisfying as a result of the "above and beyond" line services and fuel discount. With notifying Dutchess Aviation ahead of time, Rich Ireland from the line service met us at our airplane with our rental car on the ramp and paperwork completed except for signatures. We were driving out of the FBO to our destination before we knew it. I flew to KPOU to attend our son's wedding. The Newlyweds had requested wedding pics around my Bonanza. Matt Schaefer from the line service was extremely helpful in planning and carrying out that event. Rich and Matt also took equally good care of our two friends and their wives, who flew in to attend the wedding as well. We all received AVGAS discount coupons from the line service. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My congratulations to Mr. John Bourdeau for running such a great operation at Dutchess Aviation.

We flew in for a weekend wedding and found Matt with Duchess Aviation to be extremely helpful. When we arrived, he came out to greet us with our rental car and fueled the plane with competitively priced fuel. Overall an excellent experience. We will most certainly go back when in the area.

The fuel price a ride back and forth to a nearby restaurant more than made up for a bit of waiting. I'll be back!

The airport has seen better days but the staff is still friendly and gave a quick turnaround. Tower controllers seemed a little green, but we all have to start somewhere, so remain vigilant despite the controlled airspace.

These guys are awesome-they really will take care of you like you're one of their own. You will need someone to help out with winter flying like we see up here, and these guys are the ones to go to-special thanks to Matt and his friend. County ramp is where I'm headed every POU trip.

I just want to let everyone know what a great FBO Dutchess is. I arrived late in the evening and Stan waited for me to arrive and he even took me to the local hotel, which was so kind. The next day Rick and John did an outstanding job in getting me ready for my flight by getting me fuel and filling up my oil. Wonderful service, great personalities and very enthusiastic. I recommend it to all. Safe flying!

Don't pass up an opportunity to stop at Dutchess. (Sometimes they have a coupon fuel discount, so ask.) You will find that the linemen, operations and all the staff there run a top shelf airport and go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and happy. As an added bonus the tower ATC personnel are very helpful as well.
