This was the 2nd of three stops on my way from Calgary to Florida in a Lancair. It was really hot and nobody was flying. But, the manager was there, fueled the plane, we talked. They have a crew car, gorgeous airport, new fencing, AC'd terminal building and all the little things needed for a stop. These little rural airports are gems because you can get in/out quickly have the place to yourself and support these community airports. I will definitely return.

Breath of SE Kansas fresh air; reasonable fuel, responsive staff, on-field shop. Everyone is named "Mike." College town - no shortage of motels and restaurants.
