What a great unexpected stop due to T-Storms. The gal running the desk was great at finding us a hotel for the night. Thank You for all the great assistance even for a c-172. The oil mix-up worked out ok. LOL C-172

Landed for two days here on Feb. 16-18th, and was treated well. Frost on the wings was handled with a cheerful "Let's pull it into the hangar for you!" and it was ready in five minutes. Staff was courteous, parrots were entertaining for the kids, and the cookies were muy bueno. A nice place to stop.

Stopped in our King Air for a quick turn, line crew was ready and very efficient, pumping 400 gallons. But unlike our previous stop just a month before; CSR girl would not accept the bonus point’s card they had just mailed to me. Clearly printed on card "bonus points awarded even on contract fuel purchases." Will stop at competition or look around for better fuel stop next time heading out west.

Stopped in on Thursday August 30, 2007 for fuel. We called the day before to verify fuel prices and schedule our arrival. When we got there, the fuel truck was waiting and was hooked up and pumping within 2 minutes of shutting down. We also had to add a Lav' service since the previous FBO did not have a Lav' cart. They had our Lav dumped, plane fueled, and taxiing within 20 minutes. Great Job!

This FBO is very accommodating, and friendly, even though I bought gas at their next-door competitor using the self-serve pumps. If you need service, this is the place to stop even if gas is a nickel more! Clean facility, great staff - good cookies!

Outstanding service! Stopped unannounced for fuel, but due to storms over the range, we decided to tie down and stay the night. Upon hearing our decision, Flower's staff immediately made hotel and shuttle arrangements. When we returned in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find that due threatening weather, Flower's staff had pulled our plane into a hangar overnight. When I asked what I owed for the hangar, they refused payment saying it was "part of the service". Great service, reasonable prices, we will be back!

I stop at Pueblo about once a month, Fuel is discounted and line service is always there to lead you in and fill you up without any delay. Great service and easy access. Never any problems. Weekdays are busy with military.

I have been a frequent visitor of Flower Aviation over the past nine months and have found their service very distinctive. They are always there to greet and park the plane, and they always bring the rental car right up to the aircraft. I keep my plane hangared and as soon as the fuel truck is done, it goes into the hangar. If that wasn't enough, the smiles from the staff and chocolate chip cookies cap off the experience. Way to go on great customer service Flower!

Having intended to use the self-serve, but found it inop, I taxiied over to Flower. What a nice surprise - they gave me a 40-cent discount card, which brought their price in below the self-serve! Full service, good cookies, friendly folks, eager to have my business. Stopped again 3 days later and had the same great experience.

I want to add a strong endorsement for the service at Flower. We landed 4/7, down the ILS thru some bad weather. Small plane, small tanks, but we were greeted promptly and filled up. Then the fun started when I found a seeping oil cooler hose. Now what? The Flower personnel called the owner (?) of Steel City Aviation, Derreck Genova, who came out, on a Saturday, and replaced the hose. Then, since the weather had gotten worse, with ice, we were allowed to use a crew car overnight. Next day, Easter, more of the same, low ceilings with ice in them. After a long day hoping for a break, crew car and Super 8 again. Finally got out Monday morning. I can't say enough for Roger Boswell and his team and for Derreck and Chrissy at Steel City. Fantastic service. Thank You. I think the 21 personnel with the Army Black Hawk /Chinook units that were trapped also would agree. We wish those gentlemen good luck as some are deploying to Afghanistan soon.

Nice FBO. Good fuel stop on our way from Tulsa to Provo, UT. Great restaurant in terminal next door. They serve a huge breakfast! Only slight negative is that the inexperienced line boy wanted to clean my Plexiglas windscreen with Windex (not recommended). He was very courteous, however.

What can be said about Flower that has not already been said! In 20+ years of using this chain, Flower has NEVER disappointed us. We arrived (Learjet) about 8:00 pm for a quick-turn and to pick up some preordered catering. Calling 10-minutes before landing, the line crew had the truck and GPU in position for the arrival. As the engines were shutdown, the ground power was plugged in, the truck was on the tail and fueling began. Even though the temperature was below freezing, the aircraft was ready before I received the new clearance and setup the airplane for departure. The catering – six box lunches – was well received by the passengers and provided ample food and variety in the meal. The topper: even though it is the only FBO on the field, the fuel price is very reasonable.

Very positive experience: Got a .40/gal discount on fuel without asking. Everyone was courteous and attentive. No waiting whatsoever. Plane was stowed in a heated hangar for $40/nite; a real bargain if the weather gets like it can up there. On mentioning the negative comments on AirNav, one employee replied, "Yeah, the owner is not very happy about that." For those who want to buy self-serve fuel, there are restrooms just a few steps away. I will continue to purchase fuel and outstanding service from Flower Aviation.

My trip to Pueblo in N811KS this time was as good as it was last time. Line service was there to greet me again and was very nice, along with the lady behind the desk. Stopped in at Flower on a cross-country from KSLN to KPUB and back to KSLN. Ate at the restaurant on the field, which wasn't bad. Both Flowers in Salina and Pueblo are great places to stop. Thanks again.

Or recent visit to Pueblo on Monday evening of June 5, 2005 to drop off a friend we fueled up at Flower. We were greeted by the fuelers who were very friendly. They chatted with us while they fueled our little Cessna 172. They offered us a 20-cent discount, but we turned it down to get the 40 Avtrip points per gallon (which was great). My hat is off to the two fuelers and the lovely lady behind the desk on that day. The fuelers even towed our airplane to the tie down area after we were unable to leave due to bad weather. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't mind the walk from the GA line to the building after being cramped up in a small airplane. Way to go Flower, keep up the good work.

Stopped in PUB for business today. My stay could not have been better. The linemen guided us in. Prior to fueling they asked if I had a discount card for $.40/gal discount. I didn't. They asked if I wanted one. What is the price with the card? $3.59/gal! Let's do it. In the nice FBO, I was pleasantly greeted, received my discount card good at Garden City and Salina, KS as well and we were done with that. Asking if they had a courtesy car that I might use the response was: "We certainly do." The car ran fine, was in good repair and the gas tank turned out to be FULL. Upon questioning the full tank, the reply was: "We always do that for the convenience of our customers." After a quick lunch at the "Spitfire" restaurant (better than most airport cafe'/restaurants) in the terminal about 30 yards away, I was away on my business. Bottom-line: In comparison to many, Flower Aviation is an excellent FBO with great service, reasonable fuel prices and lots of conveniences.

Arrived in PUB 11/20/05 after long 5 hr. flight from SLC. I was directed to the S.S. pump by the tower (they were great!) and while filling, my travel companion walked to Flower FBO to ask about a tie down for the night. We were denied one, based on our use of their competitor's fuel, and told we weren't even welcome in the building or on their ramp. I told them I would pay for the tie down, but it didn't matter. I have been flying G.A. for 34 yrs., and this is the rudest, most bizarre treatment from an FBO (or anybody) I have ever encountered. If Mr. Flower ? can't compete in a free market, perhaps he ought to look to other areas in which to create or keep business. PUB has been removed from my GPS data base. Flower should do us all a favor and sell his business to someone who cares about people! The city of Pueblo would be better off if left! Signed, "never to return".

The line people were fine and helpful. The trouble is in the office where the girl sits behind the desk and yuks it up with her friends while you just stand there. The worst problem is the owner who doesn't like the self-service fueling at the other end of the ramp and tells people they can't park on the ramp unless they buy fuel from Flower. I was warned about this by a guy flying a T-6 and sure enough it happened... they even sent a line guy racing down to the self service to tell me, but I had already put my card in the machine so they "let me off this time." I will have a bad feeling about Flower from now on and will probably never go there again.

The line guys were right there when I taxied in and the fuel truck was pulling up before I even shut down the airplane. Unfortunately, the great service ended there. I went to check in at the line desk and had to spend almost 10 minutes listening to the gal at the counter's personal phone call before she took the time to acknowledge my presence. All in all, however, this was a nice stop and a neat airport.
