I flew from New York City to PVD in my single engine aircraft to attend a wake nearby and when I landed, I decided to get the minimum 15 gals @ the ridiculous price of $7.32 to wave the $25 fee. Then I attempted to get an UBER which would not come to the Northstar side of the airport so after getting essentially no help to get to the service expect options that would have been extremely costly so decided to leave. After letting the attendant that I was going to leave she hands me a bill for $144 ($109 for fuel) and a bunch of other fees. I get that they need to charge me for fuel but the rest of the fees should have been waived and they would work with the UBER's to allow their passengers to get where they need to go VERY disappointed.

Prices have gone up a lot. $50 for a brief stop in a Cherokee to pick up a passenger. Service just okay. $5 landing fee now $10. Parking fee $10 Facility fee $25. Next time I'll suggest a different airport.

I had an excellent experience at Northstar. I called a couple of hours before my arrival, and the Customer Service Manager (I forgot her name) helped me arrange a rental car on short notice (at a time when cars were scarce) and at a favorable rate. She did all the coordination with the rental car company and saved me a ton of time. My experience was completely seamless thanks to her. All the staff was pleasant and efficient. Thanks, Northstar!

Since leaving the last comment. I received a call from the manager of Northstar. He apologized for the charges and credited me for whatever fees the FBO imposed. That was very nice and will give me pleasure to return once again to Northstar. Thank you.

We visit Northstar Providence frequently. Most of our stops are quick turns, picking up or dropping passengers. Everybody at the FBO great. And the facility (recently renovated) is beautiful. The ramp guys are very attentive to our passengers. The women behind the counter always greet us with a warm welcome. And when we need fuel, the truck is always waiting for us when we arrive. My last stop at Northstar was on the way to a final destination that had a curfew we were trying to meet, and required a large fuel load. The guys had us fueled and ready to go well before our passengers arrived, and were out front to meet them and help with bags when they drove in. Everything went smoothly and on time, as always. Whether its a domestic or international flight, we rely on Northstar because some of our most important people come through their lobby It's nice to we can count on them.

After 31 years of flying and 19000 hours I felt compelled to write this. I rarely comment on FBO's but this time itís a must. I hope that AirNav doesn't drop this comment and proves to be honest. I flew in for a quick business meeting in a Robinson Helicopter. Parked way away from the building for 2 hours. I was charged, sit down! $140 for parking and whatever other fees they could create. For a 1600 lbs. Piston helicopter for 2 hours! After complaining, they dropped the price to the lowest possible of $105. Avoid this place like the plague. I fly multiple corporate jets and have never seen anything like this in all my years of flying. Go to Newport KUUU. No charge and treated like gold. If any question, I have the bill clearly printed and will share it.

Great FBO! Have stopped a few times (most recently on Labor Day) with no advance notice other than a quick radio call while taxiing in. Always quick friendly service. Fuel is a bit pricey but that's expected at a big east-coast airport. $5 landing plus $5 facility fee charged by FBO; $10 ramp fee waived with fuel. Big, comfortable facilities, convenient via taxi to downtown Providence.

An absolutely thumbs up experience. I had to divert to Providence because of weather. I got a rental car within minutes of arrival and drove home. I came bank the next day to fly to my home field. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Parking fee waived with fuel purchase. Remodeled FBO is really nice. Also, Providence approach and tower is top notch. Fly here. You'll like it.
