Unpublished parking restrictions! This FBO does not want you parking in front of their FBO building unless you're in a jet, turboprop, or twin. They want you to park 500' to the north in front of the other business hangars. I just wanted to stop for an hour to get some food in town and let the plane cool down, got the feeling I wasn't welcomed as I was in a small single engine GA plane. Their gas is cheap, 2 stars for that, maybe I caught them on a bad day.Response from James Marquardt, Airport Manager, Perry Houston County Airport Authority Mr. Fritz, to set the record straight. You purchased fuel at our self-serve & instead of parking at any of the adjacent parking spots you chose to move your airplane directly in front of the FBO on an active taxiway directly over the "No parking" marking. Most of our business is small airplane and we pride ourselves in providing top drawer service. That said there are clearly marked tiedown areas for smaller aircraft and specific areas of the ramp specifically designed for heavy aircraft.

Landed with a flat tire. UGH! These folks stepped into overdrive to help us. Hana was so very helpful acquiring a car for us and helping to hangar our airplane due to inclement weather. Perry was a wonderful town to stay while we waited for the new tire to arrive and get installed. Thank you all! Eric

One of the best FBO's I've ever been to. I chose them for their fuel prices on my way back to Michigan from Florida. I ended up with the front nose gear, flat tire upon landing on an excellent paved runway. Jim, the FBO manager, came out to the runway to help and pump up the tire with me to move my Mooney Airplane off the runway to the ramp. Jim happened to have a personal spare inner tube available and he sold it to me at cost. He then helped me change the tire and tube out on the ramp and didn't charge me a dime. What a great place. I will be visiting them every time back-and-forth to Florida And Michigan. The aircraft maintenance hangar people were excellent and very helpful as well. Everyone offered water, a shower in the FBO on such a hot sweaty day, coffee, snacks, and anything to make the ordeal as pleasant as it could be.. If anything go to meet the people for the hospitality. I can't speak highly enough. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

KPXE is a great airport for a quick fuel stop. Low fuel prices, friendly employees, and a nice facility.
