Nice airport, great restaurant, warm and receptive to all civil aircraft. But I've got to say, when I was flying mil helicopters out of Otis, twice I was "requested" to cease operations and "invited" to leave the area over Unicom during daytime operational flights. Not military friendly...

Arrived on Oct 9th with two other planes for a weeks stay. Enterpise had the Tahoe waiting for us like they said. The restaurant has a large menu and the food was good. If you need weather info go down to Alpha One. They have a computer for internet access. Nice people.

I used this airport for a base for 8 days while doing work on Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and the cape (I would fly out and work the day and fly home). This airport has a great mix of people who are fun to be around. Airplane was fueled every time as requested quickly and efficiently. Fuel prices are a little below average for the area. Was charged no landing or overnight fees, although they did say that they normally charge $7/ day and wave 1 day with each 15 gal fuel purchase, I just purchased fuel from them just about everyday for my travel. Overall Grade: A

A lineman there told me that Mogas is back, as of a few days ago. They had to clean out their tanks and make some changes due to the reformulation of auto fuel, but they have it again and it's 91 octane.

As a pilot for a rather large banner towing operation in the US, it can be hard to find an airport with a manager that understands the operation enough to welcome it. Well at Plymouth, the folks there are by far the most hospitable in the entire northeast. They gladly dropped me off and picked me up from the hotel I was staying at for the night and had the aircraft topped off ready to go. You all made my day a million times smoother, by being one-step ahead!! Thanks!!

Arrived at Plymouth with a Nor’easter on my tail. Alpha 1 was fantastic. Arranged to hangar my plane drove the rental into the hangar to unload baggage and gave me a cell phone number to call anytime to arrange for our departure. My daughter even left her mittens at the FBO only to find them waiting on the clipboard for our return. Give these guys a try; it is hard to find service this good!

Flew in on 10-13-2006, and was directed down to the local FBO Alpha One, its a little hard to find, they are the ones with the red building and hangar. The people running that operation went out of their way to make our wait in PYM as comfortable as possible. Complete with tour of their facility and all the improvements they are making. They did not as of yet have a crew car, so one of the ladies that works there went out and picked up food for us. I was told the crew car (truck) would become a reality very soon. Very nice people, if your travels take you to PYM be sure to stop in.

Brought my own tie down ropes as per suggestion of previous comments. Found Plymouth to be relatively hassle free airport with an ILS. Enterprise had the car in the parking lot when we arrived in the evening. Also received a credit of one days tie down for each 15 gallons of fuel purchased. I believe it was still approximately $4.15/gallon however it may have been slightly more. Just couldn't find my receipt.

Not a bad little airport to use to avoid some of the hassles you'll experience in trying to get closer to Boston. Just be sure, if you're going to be parked there for a couple of days, you give the ops desk your aircraft and contact information. Didn't see the small sign by the gate stating such and got read the riot act for not telling them I had arrived for a weekend stay. They don't exactly meet you with a Coke and a smile so it's incumbent upon the pilot to hunt these guys down and tell them your intentions. A word to the wise or they'll make you feel like you should report yourself to the FAA when you get back to the plane to pay your parking fees.
