Stopped at Redlands to visit my son. Please note right hand traffic for RWY 26. The FBO is at the east end of the field. The airport manager is friendly and was out working on new hangers that are currently being constructed. There is currently no opportunity for storing your plane in a hangar. I was able to tie down for $5/nite or $35 for 2 weeks if you require longer term. The airport is secured by card key locks so you won't be able to drive an auto to your plane. I was unable to find oxygen on the field but California Tool and Welding Supply in Riverside may be able to help you if you bring your pilots license. Fuel pumps on the east end of the field are self-serve. The pumps at midfield are out of order.

Just noticed my 2005 comments still on the board. My last couple of visits have found welcome changes. I found nothing to gripe about at all.

I found Redlands to be a great place, quiet, with decent folk and good things to do and see close to the airport. I've not noticed any signs of vandals, has Chevron fuel services, and a computer accessible for pilots in the main lobby. The tie down fee seems reasonable, at last report it was $5 overnight. It has good growth for hangar space.

The airports freq is now 123.05. Change was made due to 4 airports on the same freq. Be aware that Big Bear Airport is on the same freq now. Haven't seen any vandalism for 2 years since the security cameras were put in place. Acrobatics are over the 7 Oaks Dam to the east. Contact RAL FLT SERVICE for info.
