Blue Airways is located at the Red Wing Regional Airport, about 35 miles (flying distance) from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport. Our proximity to the Twin Cities allows Blue Airways to offer a close gateway with access to the same basic services in a less-congested area for a cheaper cost. Blue Airways offers both Jet A w/additive (pre-mixed) and 100LL at very competitive prices with no additional charge for full-service and no landing fees. The Red Wing Airport offers a single East/West runway at 5010 x 100 feet, which can accommodate most jet traffic. Our terminal building is newly remodeled offering free wireless internet and weather. A no-charge courtesy car and van with access to fine restaurants in historic Red Wing, Minnesota is also available.

While enroute from Waukesha to St. Paul and I called Red Wing Unicom for Blue Airways and asked them if they could get me a rental car. I would have rather flew to Red Wing than KSTP because of the cheap gas. They gladly offered their crew car for the entire day. Saved me over 100$! Great service

Stopped on business. The service at Blue was excellent. I got help with the self-service fuel (without having to ask) and they let me take the courtesy car over night. Great airport, great staff, great town to stop in. I recommend it and I would come back in the future.

I have friends and family in Red Wing and fly there at least once per year. It is one of my favorite destinations and FBO's in North America. There are 2 courtesy cars, automated fuel, and anything else you need. Grab some "Hagar Heights" chicken just down the road and tell Sam that Jon sent you.

Easy airport to find (N of wide river). FBO is great; Helpful, courteous and nice. Fuel is reasonable. Red Wing is a nice town if you get the chance.
