I fly into Richmond 6-8 times per year. FBO building is large, but dated. The receptionist rarely acknowledges my existence, as many others have noted. Fuel prices are high. Large maintenance facility. Numerous fast food restaurants nearby.
From Heather Penney on 25-Oct-2015

The receptionist didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in, and was almost disinterested in processing our fuel purchase. Not overtly rude, but we were clearly inconveniencing her. Line guys nice, crew car was horrific. Filthy. I wasn't even sure if we were going to make it back as the engine sounded on the verge. Millionaire is more expensive fuel, but we'll be going there next time we land at Richmond.

So based on user comments, stopped at Richmond Jet Center today. The lady at the front desk had LITTLE to NO interest in being helpful. She was rude, not friendly, and I guess my Cirrus wasn't just that important to her. Really really poor customer service.

The FBO is large and reasonably well equipped. This is a major service center for Cessna Columbia's. The maintenance staff seems to be highly skilled. Be prepared for a cross-country flight as Potomac Approach sequences you with airline or jet traffic. This is a big airport. Taxiing can take some time, so consider landing long if you are approaching from the south side of the field.

Good experience. Friendly and capable folks. Handled maintenance need quickly and kept me informed of progress. Will be back.

Sorry to post again, but I flew into RIC last week and was there during the recent deep freeze. I won't bore you with details but a night lineperson made a mistake. Let me say that the Staff/Senior Management worked quickly to fix the issue and did an excellent job. Mistakes happen, but how people react to those mistakes defines a great company. Well done and congratulations to Richmond Jet, you have my business for life.

I have been here several times and the people are simply fantastic. Great service, friendly people, great fuel prices... A great FBO

Flew to Richmond from an IFR cross-country flight with my CFII from Norfolk, VA and parked at Richmond Jet Center this. I have been using Million Air based on better reviews. My CFI (who used to train at ATP upstairs) told me Richmond Jet Center doesn't charge no ramp fee and such, if that's true...I will be utilizing them more. We stopped there for about 90 minutes, grabbed a crew car for lunch and rolled back home. Richmond Jet Center didn't charge us a dime and without fuel purchase. You guys are awesome.
