We arrived into holding evening of JUN 29th. Shane was the line service employee that stayed around for after hours to help with our passengers and rent cars. Due to fog that rolled in we diverted to Bangor. Shane advised after we landed at BGR that fog was in for the night. We arranged rent cars at BGR for our passengers and went to hotel for rest. Next day was a full day of flights that ended back RKD. This time John came back out at 10pm to assist in our rent car and secure aircraft. This maybe a small FBO but they are big on friendly and excellent service for our Hawker 800xp.

Great service by all the staff at Downeast Air. The airport management and maintenance staff also helped us with getting our ground equipment set up quickly. This is a friendly airport and worth a visit.

Friendly FBO, great food in town, but the best part was the Ash Point Inn B&B right next to the airport. Mariah and Roland could not have been nicer, and the place caters to pilots. Can't wait to get go back!

RKD is fast becoming my favorite airport in Coastal Maine. Downeast Air provided excellent service again this past weekend, crew car into town to find some crab meat for lunch and lobsters to take home (for the latter, I recommend Jess's, a family-owned business with very fair prices and superb quality -- on the way from the airport into the town of Rockland, on the left side of the street before you get into town; check their hours though, especially on off-season weekends). Fuel price as advertised, probably the best in the area.

Arrived the Saturday before July 4th holiday. Couldn't have asked for friendlier service. Our rental car was waiting next to the plane's parking spot, along with a marshaller to help us in. No charge for parking overnight. Reasonable fuel prices. Great people. Can't wait to go back -- what a great FBO. The traffic pattern was busy -- very busy, including with a fascinating display of three NORDO WWI-era biplanes flying in formation. The organizers went out of their way to help, announcing on the CTAF the location of the biplanes. And of course, Rockland is a beautiful place to visit.

We took an Angel Flight passenger back to Rockland, with a planned arrival time of 5:30 pm. The passenger was running late so we called Downeast Air. They already knew about our flight, having monitored FlightAware. They were very nice and stayed open to give us fuel until we arrived at 6:30. Their normal winter closing time is 6:00. Thanks very much. This is a very friendly and service-oriented FBO.

Made a stop for fuel after we left 93B. Quick friendly service had us back in the air and headed to our next stop. Clean facility and friendly folks.

Exceptional FBO, lineman met aircraft, unloaded luggage, helped passengers, went way beyond. FBO employees including owner there to assist in anything you need. Two computers with printers, WSI, Bathrooms have shower, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mouthwash and just about everything else. Truly a model FBO.

Flew in for the weekend on a Citation II. This is the model of how an FBO should be..... Its real unique, especially the "winding staircase". Front desk staff and line guys (especially Eric) were exceptional. What a pleasant place to go.....
