Landed at Stafford on June 28th with family for vacation in DC. Service was excellent. Before we could exit the plane, the rental car was there and Jason and crew was unloading luggage. The hangar provided was great along with the price. Thanks guys for such great service. I highly recommend Stafford. Thanks

Flew into Stafford twice in the last month. Both times the service was really outstanding. The crew there goes out of their way to make your experience very positive. We had a long flight in, and both times they brought the rental car right out to the plane and were there to help load bags and do whatever was necessary. Fuel and rental car were reasonable, and the availability of transient hangar space was great (I really dislike leaving my pristine vintage C182 out at night). On my second flight in, (once they knew me a little), UNICOM contacted me as I was approaching the airport to let me know which hangar was mine, the door was already open, and they would be there with the rental car shortly. Now THAT's service. It's an easy drive into Springfield to catch the metro into DC. No ADIZ issues, very little traffic, and great service. There is no question in my mind where I will go when I go to DC in the future.

If you want to avoid the DC ADIZ, this is the place to go. Or even if you're ADIZ warriors, this still is the place to go. A week's tour of DC for my grandson brought us here. Stafford Regional is convenient, rental cars available, and Jack and his crew are among the most accommodating I've encountered in 40 years of flying.

This place deserves all the kudos below. The staff was very nice and helped with a car. It was well worth a short drive to the DC area for the free tie down, no ADIZ procedures, cheaper fuel, and great service.

Arrived at 6:45pm on August 27, 2007, 15 minutes before closing, we had called ahead and they were there ready for us with the truck running to pump 23 gallons of Avgas in my Archer III. Fabulous service, thanks for royal treatment.

Due to a trade show August 2007 there will be VERY LIMITED RAMP space at RMN. Call the FBO prior to arrival for details!

Flew into Stafford Regional on 5/26/07. Called ahead for a courtesy car that was there waiting for us. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice, clean and well maintained airport.

Still the best airport in Northern VA, conveniently located just south of the ADIZ. Consistent, friendly service from the same folks (Jack, Bill, Jim, Pete) who were here when I started flying to RMN four years ago...

Good place to access the nation's capital clear of the restricted areas. Good fuel prices and good service.

Great IFR stop on our way from northern NY to Florida. Fast service, good facility inside temp building. As noted below, GCO is unreliable so get the IFR Clearance phone numbers from the FBO - landline or cell phone is the way to go.

I flew into Stafford a week ago late on a Saturday night. Before I was out of the plane the FBO had already started to tie down the plane, gave us a ride back to the office and offered assistance on ground transportation and lodging. Outstanding service. Quick turnaround on fueling just before departure and great guidance on how to navigate the ADIZ.

You will not find a finer FBO operation in Northern Va. Bill, Jim, and Pete at RMN run a great operation---smooth and efficient. ILS 33 is a breeze off of BRV VOR. Avgas is the cheapest in the area and my aircraft is based at HEF where the fuel is a $1.00 more per gallon. Plenty of tiedowns spaces and pilot/wx briefing area. Thanks guys---you're the best!!

I stopped in here yesterday as a linking point for an Angel Flight. Excellent service, friendly folks and great atmosphere. IFR pickup and release from Quantico via cell-phone went smoothly.

Used Stafford to support a company mission to Quantico twice this past week. Service by Bill and Jim on the line was excellent! Provided several small extras to make us feel at home. No handling fees. Courtesy car offered before I asked. They even helped with the loading / unloading of the baggage. Highly recommend and we'll be back. Note - the GCO frequency for approach isn't reliable to open / close flight plans. Plan on using landline, which is very responsive.

Concur with below about a positive experience. I stayed with them for three weeks with no problems. They have Hertz rental cars on site. I actually reserved a car with Thrifty and they couldn't seem to find the airport that was 4.5 miles away, as luck would have it a reservation cancelled and Jack was able to get me the Thrifty rate on the Hertz car. If you are going to be in the Fredericksburg area, Stafford is a good place to tie down. When traveling north I will add it to my list of fuel stops.

Don't let the temporary building fool you: this is a great FBO, with good facilities and a very helpful staff. The airport is just outside the ADIZ, which makes for easy VFR arrivals and departures, and the approaches and runways are first class.

Flew into Stafford Regional over Memorial Day weekend. Plenty of tie-down space with ropes, very attentive staff, and easy in and out common traffic airport.

I flew in on a Mooney last Thursday, 18 May 2006, for a business trip. The crew at RMN treated me like I was flying a Citation. First class service and people. In addition, the airport is not too far away from DC. Aviators in the local area need to consider this airport as their stop going into this area.

Stopped for fuel on a trip from Pensacola to Beverly, Mass. Very good service and a quick turn. Line crew was familiar with MU-2's and used two hoses to refuel. I was concerned about the ADIZ as I hadn't been to the northeast since it went into effect. Absolutely no problem IFR and even got a good routing through the DC area. A good place to stop.

Flew in the end of October this year for a wedding. Airport staff was very helpful after our rental car didn't show up in getting us a rental. Fuel prices were reasonable for the area. Enjoyed my experience at this airport and will use it again when coming in to see relatives.

Great stop if you're in the Northern Virginia area. Very accessible to the IFR flight with ILS as well as GPS/WAAS approaches. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. They're always right there with a car and chocks when you arrive. We've flown into Stafford twice in a many months and, both times, received outstanding service.
